You Are the Light of the World: 
Reclaiming Your Joy
 
Right now you are in the tail end of a year marked by great reconfiguration. You and your society are being remade, and when the cycle is finally complete you will not recognize your way of life or how you feel about living on the Earth.
 
As your economy and other structures get an overhaul, each of you is re-examining your values, your aspirations, your relationships, and more. With that assessment you may feel a whole range of emotions - from anxiousness and uncertainty to gratitude and joy.
 
During these final moments of 2009 there is an expanded energy present allowing you great spiritual openings to other dimensions. This means an expanded view of what you normally see, an expanded perception of feelings, and an expanded ability to move into a higher vibrational state of consciousness.
 
This energy helps you to connect with your multidimensional self. As part of that, you naturally connect more with your heart, your intuition, your courage, and your ability to forgive and let go.
Your multidimensional self already exists within the higher frequencies contained in the 2012 window. Claim that self now.
 
Recognize that you are the light of the world.

You are here now to shine that light. As you hold more light within you and radiate that light out from your heart center, you move out of your pain. This happens because you become more aware of patterns that have kept you frozen in fear.
 
You are able to see these patterns more clearly and you have less resistance to facing them head on. As you do that in this next cycle, you will catapult yourself into a life with more joy.
 
Your Divine self, residing within your human form, is naturally joyful. It is naturally loving and fearless too. This is your timeless and natural self. It does not need any external thing or circumstance to feel joyful.
On those days when you feel unhappy and dissatisfied with how things are, remember who you are at your core. Remember that your energy field is regularly recalibrating right now. Your DNA is changing and adjusting so that you can hold increasing amounts of light. Those changes are happening even faster as you work consciously with your DNA.
New Levels of Energy Available
 
You are accessing levels of energy and information you could not even imagine before. Changes are happening very quickly and it is often challenging for you to correctly perceive how much you are shifting. However, trust that you indeed are accessing new levels of awareness as you progress. Your intuition is heightened and your sensitivity level is expanded.
Ascension Symptoms
 
On a physical level this often means ascension symptoms. You will get used to these. You will learn to understand the difference between an occasional headache or flu-like symptom and a serious medical condition requiring a doctor's care.
 
Sometimes you will experience physical distress that falls somewhere in between these two categories. Example - a headache that comes from an imbalance in your nervous system or digestive tract. As your body regularly readjusts to the higher frequencies, you may need to make changes in your self-care, diet, or belief systems held within your DNA.
 
The shift in consciousness involves energy and awareness. You cannot effectively hold the higher vibrational energies if you are out-of-balance on any level - physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. 
 
DNA-Level Patterns
 
These times are naturally going to bring up your old unfinished business. That means dysfunctional patterns from your past. A DNA-level pattern involving power issues, for example, could surface and set off a kind of red alert in your nervous system.
 
Since many of these patterns are rooted in past lives and your family's lineage, you might overlook what's really going on and think your symptoms are something else. You might even think you're having a panic attack or worse.
 
As you address your past patterns and also regularly update your self-care and diet you will become more comfortable with your own energetic shifting. As you select your food and self-care, a good question to ask is this:
 
"Will this substance or health regimen support me in raising my energy frequency?" 
 
The answer to that question will help you to decide the best course of action.
 
Know that when your frequency is high enough, disease cannot thrive in your body. You will be more joyful too!
 
Remember each day that you live during historic moments on the Earth. The secrets of humanity's past - and your own past - are coming to light. It's also a time when you have access to significantly more energetic momentum to create the kind of world you have long sought to inhabit.
 
These two transformational factors make this a very unique time to be alive.
 
As you continue the journey of rediscovering your Divine nature, we surround you with our love and blessings. We are The Council of 12.

From Selacia--This year-end message from The Council of 12 is meant to address our current energies and questions many people have about how to access joy in the midst of so much chaos and uncertainty.  As The Council of 12 speaks about here, joy in fact is naturally within us. 
 
We will move into increasing amounts of joy as we move through these times and let go of our past. To do that, we must become fearless and willing to face whatever comes up.  The dysfunctional patterns we hold within us -- from our past and from our ancestors -- aren't really "us." We took those on out of ignorance.
 
We are now becoming aware and awake. We now are reconnecting with our authentic selves. We are now learning to access our inner wisdom, which is the best gauge we have for how to move forward. We really do have the tools for success. 
 
The key is remembering to use what we have been given, and to help one another - for we are all traveling toward the same place. 
 
Take a few moments and contemplate these questions: 
"What is the theme I keep coming back to in my mind that stops me from feeling happy?"
"What do I tell myself I can't have, be or do?"
"What early childhood pain continues to recycle in my life today?"
"What is the key block within me to having a successful love relationship?
"What within me says I can't have money and be a light worker?"

A key theme of our December 5 channeling event will be joy! This is our special year-end event with The Council of 12 -- and is open to all - so please tell your friends who haven't yet registered.

2012 & Beyond - Pivotal Moments in Time

Today, as humanity stands at the edge of the 2012 window, increasing numbers of people are realizing that these aren't ordinary times.
 
There is plenty of media focus on 2012, but it's more than that. You don't have to be a psychic or historian to feel the magnitude of changes occurring today. You can feel the undercurrent of change even if you don't regularly watch the news.

 
Most likely, you feel more uncertain about your future than you did a few years ago. As you observe your world's fragile state, you no doubt wonder how humanity can come together with the needed solutions for the growing list of concerns.
 
You don't need to understand politics or economics to know that your planet is at a tipping point. You can see it all around you.
 
Similarly, you don't need to be on the path of conscious awakening to feel the acceleration in time. Everyone feels it. All of the people around you are working with the same 24 hours you are. Time pressures are felt by anyone connected with the pulse of modern society.

 
It's more than simply growing older and feeling you have less time to live before you die.
 
What is the bigger picture here? How do you make sense of the linear yardstick humans call time? How can you intelligently approach the topics of time, the 2012 date, and the massive shifting occurring?
 
What is important to understand right now? How do you stay sane when the world is in chaos?
 
5 Things to Do to Stay Sane
 
1. Update your relationship with time. Separate out your need for order and your need to be fully present with life. Your only true power to create is from the now. Let go of your war with time, with deadlines, and with your growing to do list.
 
Acknowledge that everyone gets baffled by time. As you become more multidimensional, time takes on a new meaning. To be sure, your clocks and calendars are convenient tools. They provide a practical way to describe the events of your life.
 
Clock time is a measuring stick you use to set up meetings and arrange the details of your day. Calendars are also measuring sticks, while helping you to track seasons and cycles.
 
Beyond these practicalities, the use of psychological time is relative and not helpful for living in the present moment. That one instant, as it occurs, is the only one from which you can make changes.
 
2. Become friends with change. There will be lots more of it. The great quickening is now in full swing, with humanity's awakening accelerating at a rapid pace.
 
You are an integral part of that process, the shifting happening inside of you. There is much you want to change about the world you see. The most productive way to initiate those changes is to focus on being as loving and kind as you can be. Include yourself in the equation!
 
Whatever challenges you face become the energetic fuel of your path of light. Your obstacles, when faced and transformed, become luminous gems you share with the world. Rather than complaining about how many problems you have, express gratitude for the luminous gems you can create and share.
 
3. Keep dates like 2012 and other linear reference points in perspective. The great shift occurring in the window of 2012 is more of a process than a single event. This evolutionary progression has been unfolding with increasing momentum during your lifetime.
 
Whenever something ends, something new can begin. That's what you want, after all, something brand new!
 
These historic moments represent an enormous potential for humanity to create a new more light-filled world. You are here to participate, to co-create needed changes, and to benefit personally and spiritually.
 
You came not for one date in time, but to have a front-row seat as your planet ascends into a higher consciousness. The seat you have taken is not stationary! It and you are moving constantly. You don't realize this as you sit there, but it's true!
 
Your movement into higher levels of being won't always feel comfortable. Sometimes you will feel dizzy or simply tired. Sometimes you will want to cover your eyes to avoid seeing what is there. Sometimes you will question whether you can go on. Do not worry. The eternal you has no doubt that you will succeed.  
 
4. Avoid shutting down your senses. Your physical and intuitive senses are integral to your ascension into the higher frequencies. You don't want to numb them with substances, overwork, or a nonstop diet of media input.
 
Your body is the Earthly temple for your soul. It will give you vital information about what's important, what and who to trust, and what's out of balance.
 
Your emotions can be your greatest helper or your worst enemy. Learn to identify how you feel, when you feel it. Become intelligent about how you respond to what you feel. Decide that you will use your emotions as a beneficial tool for your growth, with harm to none including you.
 
If you realize you are anxious or depressed, address your feelings without judgment. Remember that anyone can feel these things. The key is to find solutions so you don't go into self-sabotage mode.
 
Underneath the anxiousness, when you go deep enough, there is pure joy! Your genuine self is joyful and intuitive. Those qualities are naturally within you and within everyone you meet.
 
Your intuition is like the gift that keeps giving. The more you intentionally work with it, the more it helps you to flower into your highest potential.
 
5. Look deeper than surface appearances. You need to learn to look beyond what is presented, beyond what is announced as fact. These are times of increasing transparency, but it is consciousness that will determine how you see things.
 
Not everyone will perceive events the same way. Those who aren't ready or don't want to see the truth will have their own version. Don't feel you must convince them on your timetable. Don't give your energy away in senseless arguments.
 
Stay in your center, in your own truth. Remember that truth relates to the eternal realms.  In those realms, no proof or manipulation is required. Truth simply is.

Topic: H1N1 Vaccine Issue - Getting Clearer

Hi Everyone,


It appears from the emails and comments to my last video, I am still unclear about my position. So, I'm gonna take another stab at it.
First and foremost, I am not advocating voluntarily taking the vaccine. I don't want to take it anymore than you do. I am also not advocating passive compliance. Far from it, I am advocating active integration! What does active integration mean? It means working from the God/higher perspective to see this issue and taking actions that will alter it on the inner planes. 


If you'd watched the movie, The Secret, then you are aware of how everything and I mean everything begins on the inner planes...in the 90% of reality that we don't see. That 90% is the Void, the point of creation...of raw energy. With our thoughts we take raw energy and form it based on the vibration of our energy. It becomes a thoughtform then. Once initially formed we energize the thoughtform into physicality by thinking and feeling about it over and over. So, if we fear something, an event such as a mandated vaccination, we will continually give that event energy thus manifesting it. But, if we see the same event in a different light, one that is integrative, meaning we see the gift in it, we will manifest the gift instead. 


It is my opinion that the gift in this possible mandate is another chance to reclaim power we have lost both personally and nationally in regards to our healthcare. From the higher perspective, we realize that we must do it wrong before we can figure out how to do it right. Okay, we've done it wrong; we are one of the sickest nations in the world with all the processed foods, chemicals and stressful lifestyle that come with an industrialized first world nation. Moreover we have gotten into the mindset that is something goes wrong, we can always go to a doctor and if we don't have health insurance, there is always the free clinic. Hospitals cannot by law turn away someone who needs medical attention. We take drugs we have not researched, we eat foods we have not researched and even when we have, we will still eat the foods that we know are not good for us.


Additionally we are a society that prides itself on logic over emotion. How many times have you been told not to get angry, not to be too emotional? So we stuff our anger and pain and use more and more drugs to keep it suppressed. Just watch evening TV and you'll see ad after ad for drugs to help with depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, arthritis, allergies...all illnesses that can be directly traced back to uncleared emotions.


Now, I know there are people who will adamantly state that they have not participated. I ask you, have you lived a perfectly clean physical and emotional life? Are you in perfect physical and emotional health? I dare say none of us can claim to have both. Have you never once stuffed an emotion? Think about the 90%. Are you aware that everything you think and feel becomes part of the mass consciousness?  Did you know that anything that you stuff ends up in there where it combines with other negative emotions to manifest as negative events such as the one we are facing now? Yes, it's another aspect of oneness. So, back to the point at hand, when each of us can take responsibility for the part, big or small, that we have played in getting our nation to this point, we can then see this issue from the higher perspective. 


In our spiritual studies, we all have learned that we are all one. Remember, every person in the government is a soul in a body. When viewed from the higher perspective, we recognize that those souls collectively have a contract with the rest of our nation to play a role for our collective spiritual growth. If we believe this then we must acknowledge that the government is us so we are fighting and resisting a part of ourselves. How does that make sense? I believe that role the government is playing includes threatening us with something so repugnant to us that we will finally stand up and take back our power/responsibility over our health. 
So, to me, the answer is to get the gift, which is the lesson about personal health related responsibility learned. When I get the lesson, I am thankful to the government for being willing to take it this far to push me into seeing how I have given up too much of the responsibility and power over my health. I am now going to be even more proactive in my healthcare and I will not expect the government to take care of me if I screw up. I'm going to be even more aware of my inner world and my emotions and more diligent in clearing them and speaking my truth to do it. I appreciate the governments’ threat cause it woke me up.


If we all took this stance, there'd be no anger, no blame and no resistance. The possible mandate would remain just that, a possibility and would never manifest into an absolute. This is active integration.

OSLO – President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday in a stunning decision designed to build momentum behind his initiatives to reduce nuclear arms, ease tensions with the Muslim world and stress diplomacy and cooperation rather than unilateralism.


Obama said he was surprised and deeply humbled by the honor, and planned to travel to Oslo to accept the prize.


"I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many transformative figures that have been honored by this prize," he said. "I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century."
Many observers were shocked by the unexpected choice so early in the Obama presidency, which began less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline and has yet to yield concrete achievements in peacemaking.
Some around the world objected to the choice of Obama, who still oversees wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has launched deadly counter-terror strikes in Pakistan and Somalia.


Obama said he was working to end the war in Iraq and "to confront a ruthless adversary that directly threatens the American people and our allies" in Afghanistan.
Members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee said their choice could be seen as an early vote of confidence in Obama intended to build global support for his policies. They lauded the change in global mood wrought by Obama's calls for peace and cooperation, and praised his pledges to reduce the world stock of nuclear arms, ease American conflicts with Muslim nations and strengthen the U.S. role in combating climate change.


"Obama has as President created a new climate in international politics," the citation read, in part. "Multilateral diplomacy has regained a central position, with emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play. Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts."


Aagot Valle, a lawmaker for the Socialist Left party who joined the committee this year, said she hoped the selection would be viewed as "support and a commitment for Obama."


"And I hope it will be an inspiration for all those that work with nuclear disarmament and disarmament," she told The Associated Press in a rare interview. Members of the Nobel peace committee usually speak only through its chairman.
The peace prize was created partly to encourage ongoing peace efforts but Obama's efforts are at far earlier stages than past winners'. The Nobel committee acknowledged that they may not bear fruit at all.


"Some people say, and I understand it, isn't it premature? Too early? Well, I'd say then that it could be too late to respond three years from now," Nobel Committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland said. "It is now that we have the opportunity to respond — all of us."


In Europe and much of the world Obama is lionized for bringing the United States closer to mainstream global thinking on issues like climate change and multilateralism. A 25-nation poll of 27,000 people released in July by the Pew Global Attitudes Project found double-digit boosts to the percentage of people viewing the U.S. favorably in countries around the world. That indicator had plunged across the world under President George W. Bush.


At home, the picture is more complicated. Obama is often criticized as he attempts to carry out his agenda — drawing fire over a host of issues from government spending to health care to the conduct of the war in Afghanistan.
U.S. Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele contended that Obama won the prize as a result of his "star power" rather than meaningful accomplishments.


"The real question Americans are asking is, 'What has President Obama actually accomplished?'" Steele said.
Drawing criticism from some on the left, Obama has been slow to bring troops home from Iraq and the real end of the U.S. military presence there won't come until at least 2012.


In Afghanistan, he is seriously considering ramping up the number of U.S. troops on the ground and asking for help from others, too.
"I don't think Obama deserves this. I don't know who's making all these decisions. The prize should go to someone who has done something for peace and humanity," said Ahmad Shabir, 18-year-old student in Kabul. "Since he is the president, I don't see any change in U.S. strategy in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan."


Obama has said that battling climate change is a priority. But the U.S. seems likely to head into crucial international negotiations set for Copenhagen in December with Obama-backed legislation still stalled in Congress.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, who won the prize in 1984, said Obama's award shows great things are expected from him in the coming years.


"In a way, it's an award coming near the beginning of the first term of office of a relatively young president that anticipates an even greater contribution towards making our world a safer place for all," he said. "It is an award that speaks to the promise of President Obama's message of hope."


He described the prize as a "wonderful recognition" of Obama's effort to reach out to the Arab world after years of hostility.
But Former Polish President Lech Walesa, who won the prize in 1983, questioned whether Obama deserved it now.


"So soon? Too early. He has no contribution so far. He is still at an early stage. He is only beginning to act," Walesa said.


Unlike the other Nobel Prizes, which are awarded by Swedish institutions, the peace prize is given out by a five-member committee elected by the Norwegian Parliament. Like the Parliament, the committee has a leftist slant, with three members elected by left-of-center parties. Jagland said the decision to honor Obama was unanimous.
The identity of the person who nominated Obama will not be made public unless that person steps forward. The Nobel committee received a record 205 nominations for this year's prize.


The award appeared to be at least partly a slap at Bush from a committee that harshly criticized Obama's predecessor for his largely unilateral military action in the wake of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.


"Those who were in support of Bush in his belief in war solving problems, on rearmament, and that nuclear weapons play an important role ... probably won't be happy," said Valle, the Nobel Committee member.


Obama is the third sitting U.S. president to win the award: President Theodore Roosevelt won in 1906 and President Woodrow Wilson was awarded the prize in 1919.
Wilson received the prize for his role in founding the League of Nations, the hopeful but ultimately failed precursor to the contemporary United Nations.


The Nobel committee chairman said after awarding the 2002 prize to former Democratic President Jimmy Carter, for his mediation in international conflicts, that it should be seen as a "kick in the leg" to the Bush administration's hard line in the buildup to the Iraq war.


Five years later, the committee honored Bush's adversary in the 2000 presidential election, Al Gore, for his campaign to raise awareness about global warming.
In July talks in Moscow, Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev agreed that their negotiators would work out a new limit on delivery vehicles for nuclear warheads of between 500 and 1,100. They also agreed that warhead limits would be reduced from the current range of 1,700-2,200 to as low as 1,500. The United States now has about 2,200 such warheads, compared to about 2,800 for the Russians.
But there has been no word on whether either side has started to act on the reductions.
Former Peace Prize winner Mohamed ElBaradei, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, said Obama has already provided outstanding leadership in the effort to prevent nuclear proliferation.


"He has shown an unshakable commitment to diplomacy, mutual respect and dialogue as the best means of resolving conflicts," ElBaradei said.
Massimo Teodori, one of Italy's leading experts of U.S. history, said the Nobel decision was a clear rejection of the "unilateral, antagonistic politics" of Obama's predecessor, George Bush.


"The prize is well deserved after the Bush years, which had antagonized the rest of the world," Teodori said. "President Obama's policy of extending his hand has reconciled the United States with the international community."


Obama also has attempted to restart stalled talks between the Israelis and Palestinians, but just a day after Obama hosted the Israeli and Palestinian leaders in New York, Israeli officials boasted that they had fended off U.S. pressure to halt settlement construction. Moderate Palestinians said they felt undermined by Obama's failure to back up his demand for a freeze.


"I look forward to working closely with you in the years ahead to advance peace," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a message of congratulations to Obama.


In the Gaza Strip, leaders of the radical Hamas movement said they had heard Obama's speeches seeking better relations with the Islamic world but had not been moved.


"We are in need of actions, not sayings," Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said. "If there is no fundamental and true change in American policies toward the acknowledgment of the rights of the Palestinian people, I think this prize won't move us forward or backward."


Obama was to meet with his top advisers on the Afghan war on Friday to consider a request by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, to send as many as 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan as the U.S war there enters its ninth year.
Obama ordered 21,000 additional troops to Afghanistan earlier this year and has continued the use of unmanned drones for attacks on militants in Afghanistan and Pakistan, a strategy devised by the Bush administration. The attacks often kill or injure civilians living in the area.


A Taliban spokesman in Afghanistan has condemned President Barack Obama's winning of the Nobel Peace Prize, saying the American president had only escalated the war by sending more troops.


Qari Yousef Ahmadi accused Obama "of having the blood of the Afghan people on his hands."


In his 1895 will, Alfred Nobel stipulated that the peace prize should go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses."


Nominators for the prize include former laureates; current and former members of the committee and their staff; members of national governments and legislatures; university professors of law, theology, social sciences, history and philosophy; leaders of peace research and foreign affairs institutes; and members of international courts of law.


Obama will donate to charity the $1.4 million cash award that comes with the prize. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says it is likely that more than one charity will benefit.


The committee has taken a wide interpretation of Nobel's guidelines, expanding the prize beyond peace mediation to include efforts to combat poverty, disease and climate change.


Until seconds before the award, speculation had focused on a wide variety of candidates besides Obama: Zimbabwe's Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, a Colombian senator, a Chinese dissident and an Afghan woman's rights activist, among others.

Subject: Protect the President from right-wing extremists
Dear Friend,


As racist attacks increase and protestors continue to bring guns to presidential events, it is strikingly clear that President Obama is vulnerable to harm. Are the Secret Service and the FBI doing enough to protect him? Are they confronting those who threaten our president?

Ronald Kessler, a veteran investigative journalist and conservative who recently authored a book about the Secret Service, notes that funding cutbacks have already left the first African-American president in U.S. history particularly vulnerable. The book, which alleges that the cash-strapped Secret Service is endangering the president by cutting corners, has sent shockwaves through Washington.

We cannot allow funding problems to weaken the organizations charged with protecting the life of our nation's president. It is time for Americans of every stripe to insist that the Secret Service and the FBI operate at the highest levels of effectiveness.

I just signed a petition to ask Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, to ensure that efforts of the Secret Service and FBI to protect President Obama from escalating threats are expanded and fully funded. I hope you will, too. Please have a look and take action.
