Show Summary (guests, focus, rarities, mixes etc.)
This weeks show brings you two exclusive sessions. The first is 60 minute piece performed by Under Mother Bungalow on the 13th October, 2005ev at the Disaster Lounge, Brighton. The piece is called ‘The Pre-Natal Suite’ and has three distinct moods; Womb-State, Birth and After-Birth. By turns beautiful and sublime, this is truly a headphone trip. Barely controlled sanity (a bit like life). The second comes from the alchemist of sonic expression, from the UK’s West Coast, the one and only Rarg. He has sent me an hours worth of works in progress for you to savour. Details about where to find out more about both bands will follow.

This weeks recording session at the Disaster Lounge studio was one celebrating impending birth and acknowledging death as part and parcel of this thing called existence.
Wireless slipped into their Under Mother Bungalow alter-ego and played one long, evolving piece in three distinct parts; Womb-state, Birth & After Birth..
Without shadow of a doubt, one of the finest and spontaneous performances yet. Marcus finally got his kick-drum back and Richard had some new devices to play with. This set will probably be the next release on Armchair Astronaut, it really was that good. For a sneaky preview, at least one part will be broadcast on the next Crooked Stylus (www.totallyradio.com)

Greetings blog readers - just to let you know that last weeks Wireless session recording was an absolute stunner. Marcus has been given his feet back after a period of self-imposed restraint (he's the drummer with his kick back) and provided a subtle yet undeniable motorik groove. Richard went into a state of micro-sound playing with his guitar work, working the notes in a repetetive but not riff-tastic way. Bens keyboards were applied with easy confidence (that boy never seems to put a finger wrong, even when he introduces one of his inimitable comic touches...) Paul played his XPiano like a dream, generating long, attack-free notes that hung in the air like a musical mist and were replaced by melodic pluckings, bowings and scrapings. My role, as the bands ears, was to marshall and organize these sound down to two-track. The resulting sublimity can be heard from Friday 7th October on my internet radio show, Crooked Stylus ( www.totallyradio.com) As always, feedback is most helpful. Thanks to you all, darius akashic

Just to let you know that the new, full-length audio journey from Wireless is near completion.
It is called; 'End Of Summer' and, as the title suggest, is as evocative as the turning of the leaves from green to red. Like the dog days, those English evenings of Indian summers, the lengthening of shadows as the sun rises to a lesser and lower height, the quality of the light itself as it encroaches on Winters time.
You are going to love it. We do.

Greetings fellow beings (from whatever provenance) On the 22nd September, Wireless convened at mission control to play and record a seasonal invocation for the light as the daytime dwindles.
The resulting sounds were captured on a two-track recording device, subtly manipulated and enhanced from their sources by the nimble fingered acroanaut.
The resulting interplay of sounds evoke both light and darkness in equal amounts (appropriately enough for an Equinox expression) and are in the process of being edited for possible availability in the future.
A segment/extract will be uploaded to the page in the near future.

This space is a sister site to www.wireless-music.com and covers the musick of Wireless, XPiano, Under Mother Bungalow and the Acroanaut.
We are a Brighton based collective creating and devising musick for travel without motion, inner-exploring and ganglian fry-ups (yum!)
We convene weekly in Brighton in a strangley beautiful and somewhat chaotic industrial space and play until we're done (anything from 20 mins to 1 hour) If you would like to sit in, contact Darius; crookedstylus@hotmail.com for details.
There is a related MySpace; www.myspace.com/crooked_stylus which is a platform for an internet radio show called Crooked Stylus (www.totallyradio.com) so, please, take a look and say hi.
Mooning at the dark side,
