There is always one definite moment in everyone’s life, where the sheer
of magic from one piece of music deliberate the most indescribable
feeling that we’ve never known before. That piece of music becomes the
inspiration of our life and gives us something to aim in this very
short and precious time.


The same magic united us sometime in the end of 2007 to form a band.
Rising from the west and south part of Jakarta, we baptised ourselves
Gunver. Influenced by the British sounds of decade defining albums
throughout the 80s-90s, the five members of Gunver (Mike – Vocal,
Jeffry – Guitar, David – Guitar, Mario – Bass, Ade – Drums) creating a
music full of fuzzy glorious effects, echoing a person finding himself
floating in the most fantastic dream.


Throughout the year 2008, we did a various numbers of gig in the
Jakarta’s and Bandung’s music circuits, creating some interests on the
people who believes that good music will make them better every time
they feel the sun kiss their face. It also has awoken some positive
vibes from the music industry with a couple of good reviews in
lifestyle magazine, internet music fanzine, and radio shows. Our 4
tracks demo has been released by the internet label Shining Records (http://shiningrecords.com/) in April 2008 and we are planning to release new tunes in 2009 with a new distribution channel.


Just like the music has touched us and made us decide to form this
band, we will continue doing gigs; continue giving people the
revelation and that particular excitement inside everybody’s head.
Because music is a celebration. And we believe in that. Get ready for
something glorious!
