hear me now
ive got a hand to reach for what i need
and a mouth to speak about what i see
and half a mind to know my rights from wrongs,
i am everything you can never be
but im sick of running, sick of hiding
sick of screaming, you never hear me
ive been ignored so many times before,
but i can prove you wrong, so hear me now
then they sent me to the back of the line, stood there a minute knew i wasted my time.
cant speak, cant move my feet and all the things that i wanted were just out of reach
but i moved on, could i have been more wrong what i wanted let me down all along
i cant argue with what my eyes see even if they clash with the things that i believe
hear me now cause i want to be heard
hear me now cause i wont say it again

hard luck
what can i say when as far as i can see the jokes on me?
when ive had my fill of fucking up, ive had enough hard luck
patience, they say.  well every chance i take i fall flat on my fucking face
and ive been here before, it stinks as much now as it did before
what do they say? they said put trust in faith,
but risk nothing, gain nothing and have nothing at all
cause good intentions arent breaking my fall
what can i say when as far as i can see the jokes on me?
when ive had my fill of fucking up, ive had enough hard luck
how do i know if ive lived? what rule of measure are we gauging this with?
or have i lost my mind, its the life i want i cant push it away
so ive towed the line, stood up and told total lies.
then kept my head down and ignored.
its a right to survive, not a roll of the die
or misconception we're content 'getting by'
its a fatal mistake to live a life ruled by fate
its on your hands to change your own sorry state

intro
well ive heard enough im speaking my mind ive got a point to make
without peace, we cant win, why cant you see that we are one and the same
i know a man who cant admit to his faults will never make steps towards making amends
and its not that hard to see why all this conflicts killing me
because it only serves to push us apart and that never made much sense to me when we are one and the same
it doesnt matter how old we get
it doesnt matter how much money we make
we'll always be rich in spirit, we'll always be young at heart
we are one and the same

tits rule
how do i begin to explain how ive come so far with a head so blank?
without a purpose or a place to begin, how will i know when this shit finally ends?
and when its over will i say i win or will i second guess the outcome and start over again (i just cant win) i cant imagine what a toll that will take with so much on my plate
what next? and who needs to know all of everything. this constant uphill battle, all the traps life springs on me
ive come so far i know, but im moving much to slow
and when i feel im failing, things could always be a little worse
i need to get it back, i need to grab the reigns, i want complete control
i need complete control

invisible man
from where i am i can open my eyes and find where i stand
and i will not turn and run, im not giving up until the damage is done
i might be stacked and chained
(i might be stacked and chained)
but its not a miracle that i will see this through
i wonder how much of this life i can take
ill lose my way until im dead in my grave
well the truth of it is, ive got nothing left to prove
cause livings easy when theres nothing to lose
and ive got so, so far to go but this processions moving steady and slow
from where i am, i cant open my eyes and find where i stand
i will not turn and run im not giving up until the damage is done

So we got some updates on a bunch of exciting stuff! Here it is:

First off, we would like to thank our two newest and awesome additions to MTTW. Justin from Brooklyn, NY has been added as our new bass player. Justin is currently playing for The Procedure (myspace.com/theprocedure) and formerly played for Friendly Fire from NY on Blackout Records. Shortly after adding Justin, he brought Len to us as a second guitar player. Len is from Trenton, NJ and plays for Diehard (myspace.com/diehardnjpa) as well as Batter Up (myspace.com/batterup).

April 28th we will be playing the last Philadelphia Kill Your Idols show at The First Unitarian Church. It's also a Go! For the Throat reunion show. Try and make it out. You can get all the info from the R5 website (www.r5productions.com)

On our profile page you can see our ballin' ass fresh shirts. There are two designs, Tits Rule and MTTW Logo. Check them out, and send us message if you want one.

MTTW will be featured on "Music by People Like Us" compilation cd on AWAKE/STRONG with bands like Pulling Teeth, H2O, Madball, District 9, Blacklisted and more. Check the Awake/Strong site (myspace.com/awakestrong) for updates and release info.

May 25, 26, and 27 we will be going north with friends Petition (myspace.com/petitionhc) for a weekend tour. The shows our listed on our profile, so if you live in the area come out!

This summer we will be joining friends Braindead and Lighten Up! on This Is Hardcore Fest in Philadelphia. The Fest will take place on August 17, 18 and 19 at the Starlight Ballroom. For updates on tickets and bands go to myspace.com/thisishardcorefest .
