Hey everyone what's up??? We have a ton of news, to update you guys on. Some you may love and some you may hate.

I'm sure you all noticed the new page layout, I got the graphics done and most of layout done. But I'm not the greatest at programming, so if anyone wants to help let me know ;p

Well Ashley quit the band awhile ago, due to personal conflicts and situations within the band. We want to wish her the best of luck with whatever path she wishes to persue in her life.

Since that happened, we still wanted to get the NEW CD out to all of you who have been patiently awaiting for the release. 

So we asked our good friend Danielle Schrudder, to help us record the new album and get it out to everyone of you. Those of you new to DreamScar Danielle is our Original Vocalist and we are thrilled to have her help us with this release.She is the voice you're hearing on the new tracks up

DANIELLE IS NOT IN THE BAND

If anything happens for us with this cd. It will be her choice to stay in the band or not.

We are just very happy to still get this cd finished and out to all of you.

Why have Danielle do it and not just wait to find a new singer for the band, you ask???

To clear up some rumors, yes I Patrick am moving to New York very shortly and yes DreamScar will still be a band, as for shows we won't be able to play any since I won't be in vegas.

I know it sucks, I just have some personal issues I need to take care of.
I'll be 23 this year and have been doing music for 10 years. I would like to try and have a stable life and a career soon. That way I'm not almost 30 five years from now, wondering what I'm doing with myself and why my life isn't stable.

 WE WILL NOT BE BREAKING UP.

We will still be writing lots of new music for DreamScar and hopefully find a female vocalist who will be right for this band and can keep it going. We would love to tour everywhere and play shows all the time for you guys but unless we get a record deal, we can't financially do so, it's very hard too.

All we can do is hope for the best for us with this release

FINALLY SOME JUSTICE FOR ME



So the other night I was informed from a friend they knew who had my guitar, so long story short I was able to meet up with them and got two of the kids arrested and got my guitar back!!!


So Hopefully with the arrest of those two assholes, I will get the info on where I can get my other stuff they stole. Let's hope good things still happen!!


Anyone who has donated or offered to help replace my stolen gear, I can not thank you enough!! When I get all my gear back, I will for sure repay you somehow in the near future

SO LAST NIGHT FUCKING SUCKED!!!

I went to my friend Kristi's for her party and after about an hour of being there one of her shady ass piece of shit friends broke in Justin's car and stole my music equipment,

but yet everyone there doesn't know too much about the people, who we're all certain did it. I find that to be a fucking JOKE!!!

Why we're they at the party if no one really knew them and why would my shit be gone within 30 seconds after they left and why would they get defensive on the phone when I was talking calm if they aren't guilty???

IT FUCKING SUCKS!!

Shredfest lineup is hardcore
Las Vegas festival promises diverse, quality metal acts

Vegas metalheads, prepare to rock because Shredfest 2008 is taking over the Henderson Pavilion on Oct. 18.

The X-Poz sponsored event will showcase nine of the valley's own metal groups in the hopes that each group will gain a broader audience and get the exposure and recognition they deserve. The fest begins at 2 p.m., and, for the most part, each group has a unique sound, not falling into the trappings of a normal festival line-up with 10 bands that all sound the same.

For fans of the more "traditional" metal sound, look no further than Val-Halla. It is probably what Megadeth would have sounded like had Dave Mustaine decided to form the group while in high school.

Metalcore is the most represented subgenre of metal at Shredfest, with In Shadows Embrace, Kid Deposit Triumph and Kill The Masses.

Kid Deposit Triumph has dubbed itself "arena-core," and the title aptly fits. Their intense take on metalcore will probably have the entire Henderson Pavilion on their feet and could give Atreyu a run for their mo ney.

The most stand-out group on the bill is DreamScar. The group's unique brand of industrial metal featuring dual vocals courtesy of Patrick Crisci and Ashley Shadwell stands out amongst a line-up consisting solely of male-fronted bands. If you're going to be at Shredfest catch their set, or you may just miss the highlight of the day.

If bands like Drowning Pool and Soil tickle the listener's fancy, then Kreep will be right up his/her alley.

Formed by ex-Bile member Brett Pirozzi in 2001, the group has been toiling in the venues of Vegas ever since. This band is probably the most accessible of all the groups on the bill, as most of the group's songs sound as though they could be an opening theme song for a WWE wrestler.

For fans who prefer the lighter side of metal, Secrets Kept in Suicide and As He Defeats lighten up the bill. While both groups have some heavy instrumentals, both favor lighter vocal stylings that keep the levels of screaming relatively low in their songs.

Overall, Shredfest 2008 looks to be a package well worth seeing, especially when one considers the modest price of $12 a ticket in advance ($14 at the door), as well as the high quality of musicianship of each and every band on the bill.

So grab a ticket, a few albums for homework and prepare for some high-voltage rock coming next month.
