Hope you don't mind that I just sat down one day and recorded them!  My mp3 player is far from a fancy recording studio.  So, first of all thanks for even giving it enough chance to listen!!!

I'd love to take a chance to share with you what some of my songs mean to me or how they came to be.  I always am curious when listening to other people's music, so I figured I'd do it for mine!  Let's see, I'll try to go in the order they're up there currently.

First we have "Your Love", one of my newest songs.  It's pretty self-descriptive, honestly.  It's a worship song about the love of the Lord.  If there's anything I've learned over and over again in my walk with Him, its that nothing can seperate me from His love.  It's so much more powerful than anything we can comprehend.  I wrote it during a time of realizing yet again how much God really does love me, and the love He has for me has tossed ALL of my sins into the seas!  ALL OF THEM!  WOOT!

The 2nd song, "Smile", was written last year.  I was spending some time with a good friend, and even though we were both going through some difficult times, we were able to smile through it all, just because it seemed like there was nothing better to do.  At that moment, life seemed to me to be like a game of cards.  Even when you have the worst hand, you still play it and smile.  And so began this song.  I used different scenarious that I imagined people would go through...smiling "through it all".

Number THREE!  "Love song" was also written last year.  I was ALL about the love of the Lord at that time.  His love has brought me through so much.  My entire life has been shaped by the love of the Lord.  I can't help writing about it!

"These are the moments" is my newest song.  I wrote it about a month ago.  It was a little rainy outside, and I was feeling the itch to write.  This song is just about those little moments that make life more fun.  The type of moments that serve as inspiration for the greatest poets, artists, writers and composers.  The ones that make life GREAT!

"Everywhere Your Glory" was written in 2005.  I stand firmly on the thought that the Lord wrote this song for me.  I picked up the guitar one evening after church, and in fifteen minutes the song was alive.  Well, the first two verses, anyway.  The third was added later.  But the basis of the song was found from the beginning of Psalm 19 where it says that the heavens tell of the glory of God.

The last song, "My life like this" was written two years ago after reading a poem I had written some time before that.  I believe the poem was written while I was still in highschool and trying to figure out my life as I began to follow the Lord.  I thought it might make for a neat song, so I started off writing it.  I'm still not finished with it, but haven't had a chance to adjust any of it yet.  I'm hoping to finish it off soon and maybe work with the tempo a little.  I still think it could be a solid piece.
