A true lyricists gem. This album proves that lyrics still hold much weight in the underground. Content, flow, supreme wordplay, and clever punchlines displayed in every track from battle anthems like "Black Orchid" to political bangers such as "Two Ton". Brainstorm Troopah showcases production form all over the world including Stijn Beats of The Netherlands, El Chavo from Barcelona, Stereo Phlyer from Miami, and many more. If you like intricate production in hip-hop and not just a bunch of loops, this album is for you. Serum truly takes MC'ing to another level on this album where his breath control sounds like he has a few extra lungs inside of his chest. Not to mention there is plenty enough turntablism throughout this gem to scratch your itch. If you thought heads out of Miami didn't rep true school hip-hop, let this album correct you.
