So, almost a year passed by since my last release, entitled "Loser". It's really time to finish a new album soon.

Actually, since the release of Loser, I wrote about 100 songs (this is no lie!). But most of them have no lyrics/vocals yet and it's enough stuff to create a double-double-double-CD, I guess...

I know I've said this a lot during the past months: there WILL be a new album very soon. And I'm sorry I disappointed a few of you, because I still haven't accomplished that. I want my album to be perfect, a good follow up for Loser, that's why it takes so long. Now I do not have problems with mixing, but with putting the right songs in the right order, and record some vocals (I'm not home alone very often!).

On the SoundOfDentage Forums I released quite a few songs during the past months, and posted some here too. Some of them will be on my next release. I haven't forgotten those.

Here are a few facts about my next release:
- the album will be entiteld "Kill Me"
- it will feature all songs that you can listen to on my profile, plus up to 10 more songs
- it will be no double disc
- the songs sound more developed and of higher quality than Loser
- there are no collaborations on that CD
- 90 % of the songs from Kill Me are already finished
- you'll be the first ones to know when it's done completely
- artwork is ready as well

Since I'm still very proud of my recent album "Loser", which I consider as my first real semi-professional/amateur album, and since I intend to make many many more albums in my future, I decided to name my own home studio label "sappystain". It's been a nickname I chose 4 years ago, and it's accompanied me for such a long time now, that I feel it's suiting well enough.

At the moment I don't have really too many ideas, I fear. But I've been working quite a bit with some other great people, recently. One of them has a myspace profile too --> Outta Sight (you can find a link to his site in my top friends section). He's this guy that comes up with all those great experimental noise improvisation, that sound almost as good as Nirvana's noisy jams combined with Sonic Youth's improvisational experimentalism. Make sure to check out his profile, for just some of his greatest works! I've been doing drums on his songs with my keyboard and we intend to do more collaborations in the next time, to finish a whole album. It's interesting to work with him!

I'm not sure if you can hear it, but recently I've bought a small preamp. It really helps a lot making my microphone sound better. I've never expected it to be so effective. However, there are still a few issues... I haven't found out the perfect settings or ways to avoid hiss totally... but it's becoming less and less, hopefully you can notice that if you compare it to my older recordings.

I intend to do some acoustic stuff sometime soon, but again, I probably lack creativity. Also, I've been trying hard to work on my vocals recently. I've been trying to stay in tune and to put more melody inside them. Lately, I really like to do backing vocals/harmonies for my vocals. It feels just great in my throat, I don't know how to describe... as if it feels alive.
