first, thanks for reading this. no really, thank you. so, what am i looking for from a street team member? frankly, just honesty and a connection with the music.

what do i ask of street team members? whatever you're able to give, in terms of your time and energy. at the very least, a strong desire to share VTG with the people in your community.

going a little further, it would be great to help spread the word online and possibly hand out CDs to key people in your area that might be able to help us out... like radio and club dj's, record labels, managers, or maybe just someone really turned on by the music. tell me what you're good at and how you can help. i want you to be my voice.

and what do you get in return? a more in depth glimpse into VTG, the opportunity to hear material before it's released, guest listed if we play in your area (when possible), a good feeling in your heart, and hopefully a new friend.

basically, i'm swamped with running the band and i need your help promoting, marketing and getting the word around. i can't do it by myself anymore and write the music... there's just not enough time - and you'll promote better than me, i know you will.

It's 2008 and here we go again.... So here's the skinny. We've been hard at work finishing the new EP "Love is letting go", 3 of the tracks are currently in the player. It's done and will be pre-released and available at our live shows starting at Blakes on 3/12. The official release will be a few months later *yes, they'll be a party* that coincides w/ the video release for "I Lie pretty". Following that, the EP remix album will be available and loaded with tasty dance remixes.

I'd also like to welcome our new guitarist, Shy (of Superthief), to VTG. I know you'll be more than pleasantly surprised at our newfound live dynamic.

Finally, we'll be touring this year overseas in Japan and quite possibly Israel. It's going to be a good year... I can feel it.

First,

Thank you. October and November have been fantastic months for VTG. There's been a show around every corner and some great stories to pack away in my 'when i have grandchildren' backpack. We'll be mastering and releasing the next album shortly and we're looking forward to supporting it with a west coast tour and an attack radio plan.

This Monday eve at the Elbo Room, we'll be playing the last live show of 2007. If you haven't been out yet to see us, this is the one to see. We'll be performing a rocking set w/ Slave Unit and DJ's Mr. Smith and HolyFilament and there's $2 drinks alllllllll night long. See you there....

It's not the destination, it's the journey there.

I'm posting one demo from the new EP. It's called Infection and right now, it's in demo form which ultimately means that it was recorded by me one evening in a little studio. This is one of the tracks we're re-recording as you read this.

I hope this little demo taste excites you, like it does me.

We'll be in the studio tracking for the upcoming release. There's been a little change as well. It's going to be a 6 song EP, following this the first four tracks (all singles) will be available on vinyl with multiple dance remixes.

So here we go, one CD, 4 vinyl releases, radio and touring. We'll be seeing you in '07. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised.

I'm sad to say that this summer John (Guitar) is leaving VTG to move to Boston, MA. to pursue his dream of topless dancing. Over the next few months we'd like to find a replacement guitar player to fill his shoes. John will show you the ropes personally.

Here's a short list of what we'd like in a guitarist:

-Scary ability to recognize and bring the ROCK.
-Lives in SF, CA.
-Not an addict (seriously).
-Understands music theory.
-Loves the sound of a Mesa Boogie.
