As we try and do each election season, we have released a new track called "Time To Band Together". It's a bit more punk'd up than some of our other songs, but we think you'll enjoy it. We encourage all of you out there to get informed about both of the candidates in one of the most important elections in this country's history, and most importantly, we encourage you all to get out and vote!

We are releasing this song at no charge. We've posted the lyrics and a 320k MP3 for you to download and share with all your friends.

Well, thanks to all of you out there we won this week on NextBigHit.com (now referred to as NBH because I hate typing that whole thing). You'll now see a new addition to our top friends and we hope you'll also add NBH's weekly winners profile to your friends list and post comments about us on that page. Apparently, the more action we have from our fans on that profile, the higher up our song will be in the online player (thus more listens, more exposure, more votes).

The finals are the week of May 3rd and we're going to need all of you to vote and write reviews. If we win we'll be on the front page of iTunes for a week.

We can't thank you all enough for helping us get to this stage of the game but I'll try, thanks all.

To all the voices and minds throughout the world,

Much like it was in the 60's and 70's when the masses rose up and declared their opposition towards the Vietnam conflict, we are all facing global issues that require a change. From the war in the middle east, to terrorism, global warming, poverty, AIDS, health care, and beyond, our voices and actions, as representatives of this planet, need to find a way to not only reduce, but eliminate the struggles we are all dealing with.

Gore Vidal made a statement that said, "if John Lennon stood for peace, Richard Nixon and George Bush stand for death". Well, Richard Nixon is no longer a relevant issue we need to address, but George Bush and whoever may succeed him in the upcoming election certainly is. Whether you consider yourself a republican, democrat, independent, liberal or conservative, the lies that were fed to not only the American public, but to the world at large, in order to engage multiple nations throughout the planet in conflict over nothing more than the fossil fuels we are rapidly exhausting is disgusting. We can make a change. Each one of us has the power inside ourselves to do something, no matter how insignificant it may seem at the time. Inspire someone, have a discussion about these issues, read the facts from all sides, encourage education and tolerance in our young ones, write a song/poem, write your congressman, post a blog. These are only a few of the vast number of possible things that you can do right now to start making things better.

After the 2004 election came to a close and George Bush was re-elected I wrote a song to inspire change and help people gain awareness. We close with that song at every show. The song is called "Better" and as of today, we are releasing it free of charge to the world. You can download a hi-res MP3 that we encourage you to share with everyone you know from our website, myspace, numberonemusic.com, and anywhere else the people of the world post it. A lyric sheet is available on our website in PDF form as well as on myspace next to the download link.

We hope that you can find it in yourself to become inspired and engage others in a peaceful, non-violent fashion to better understand the issues facing us all, and most importantly work towards a positive change.

Since so many of you have Your Eyes as the song on your profile we were very hesitant to change the song to the new mix. As of tonight you will notice that Your Eyes has been replaced. We felt that this new mix conveys the song as we originally envisioned it and so, even though we know it's a pain to update your profiles, we felt it was in everyone's best interest to replace the version we have had here on Myspace for quite some time.

Thanks for your understanding. We hope you love the new mix of the song as much as we do (and of course we hope you'll update your profiles and add the new Your Eyes to your page)!

We couldn't understand why we were responding to the messages that were coming in but never hearing anything back (this was happening over the last few months). Finally we were able to get some real help from MySpace and we were informed that our account had been incorrectly labeled as a spammer and therefore our privileges had been suspended.

Anyway, after a long while we got that solved and we are here and ready to answer your messages. Thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding. We love you all!

A few months ago we did a photoshoot with Anastasia Pantsios (Rolling Stone, U2, Pearl Jam, etc.) and we just posted 4 of our favs in gorgeous black and white (the only way to view a picture in our opinion).

Check 'em out and leave us comments!

First off, happy 4th to all our fans from the USA. We spent quite some time putting this together and have just posted 3 videos for all of you to see. The music video is for Looking Out and we also did two live performances (1 of Looking Out and the other covering one of our favorite tunes called Low from the band Cracker).

Adam Berk was the director for all 3 of the videos and he and his partner Dave from BluMediaProjekt brought the crew and did all of the post production work to make this happen. All of the work was done at Creative Technology in Cleveland, OH.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the results and we hope all of you out there enjoy the films.

First it was Maybe It's Nothing and now Looking Out has been awarded Track of the Day on Garageband.com. Tomorrow (June 22nd) will be the day that it's featured in the alt/rock category (although we should've categorized it as alt/pop but whatever).

Maybe It's Nothing was just awarded "Track of the Day" from Garageband.com for June 12th, 2006. We've received some amazing reviews on that site and earlier last week we were awarded a Reviewers Choice Award for the same song. If you've got a Garageband.com playlist or account make sure to add some Stealing Heather songs to your playlist and help spread the word!

We've received tons of messages from people asking when they will be able to purchase the new album and we've got great news for you. It's available right now! There's a graphic and a big headline (in case you missed it) on our profile and you can click it and purchase the CD with your verified Paypal account.

As a special promotion here on MySpace, if anyone would like a signed copy all you have to do is put a note in the "optional delivery instructions" section of the checkout process and we'll get it signed for you. (note: any signed albums will have the shrinkwrap removed prior to shipping).

Thanks again for all of your support. We look forward to seeing you on the road!

As discussed through messages with a number of our friends here on myspace, we have taken down all the old versions of the songs (everything that was posted was a demo mix) and replaced them with the actual album versions.

If you have added one of our songs to your profile you will need to re-add that song as it will most likely say "deleted by artist" on your profile's music player.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this might cause some of you but we wanted to make sure that everyone was able to preview the real album tracks so they could hear what the band truly sounds like. We chose to keep the same four songs up here because of the people that are using those songs to complete their profile.

You can preview the full album at www.numberonemusic.com/stealingheather

We appreciate everyone's understanding and thank you again for all your wonderful comments and support!

We need your help with the new voting system that has been released on numberonemusic.com. If everyone goes to www.numberonemusic.com/stealingheather and clicks on "vote for this band" (and hopefully chooses 5 stars - it defaults to 2.5 stars which is a bit misleading) we'll be the highest rated band on the website. We've still got 4 songs in the top ten and it's been 6 weeks since we posted some music on that website. Thanks to everyone who keeps listening and keeps talking about us.
