Yo. Electric Tape (which is the awesome band I am in) has a show! We'll be tearing down the Comet Tavern on Thursday December 13th. Show starts at 9, we're headlining so we'll probably be on at 11 or so. This is your last chance to see us for a little bit cause we won't be playing for a month or so cause Jessica is going to darkest Africa, BUT we will be recording two new songs in the meantime. Also, I may manage to record something also so I can finally put out my stupid EP....

I've got a fancy STUDIO version of Red Letters up. I volunteered with the EMP's Youth Summer Workshop on Audio Recording and this is the song we did with Glen Loribeiki at Glen Sound (a great studio!!). Eventually this will be finished with some more vocals and piano and shit. But here it is for now.

Dudes. I am opening for Ann and Nancy Wilson of the band Heart next week. They are receiving the EMP's Founder Award and there's gonna be a huge Gala and its sold out and tickets were like a billion dollars so its gonna be all rich scary people and I am kind of freaking out. A lot. Pray to the rock gods for me people.

Hey, in case you're wondering where to take your Super Bowl Sunday buzz after the game, I've got an answer. I'll be opening for Matt Hopper and Leeroy Stagger at the High Dive in Seattle on Feb. 4th at 8pm sharp. It will be awesome.

So, it's been.....awhile since I've posted. I'll give you an update.
I've been focusing on my band Electric Tape for the most parth these days, practicing and recording and working on a new song (written by yours truly) but I do in fact have solo show coming up. The Experience Music Project is starting a First Thursday art show type thing this month and have asked me to perform for thier April show. So keep Thursday April 5th in your date books and I'll let you know more about the show when I know.

Soooo....as you might have noticed I have a new song up, it is the studio, full-band version of "Cadillac Man". Horray. Also, I will be back in Seattle Friday so look forward to some shows coming up soon. Like next Friday. I'll post more info later.

So, the Sound Off!! was last night, and I didn't win. But I'm okay with that. I felt like I played my best and everyone seemed to really like it (I sold all of the cds I made), AND I made friends with the band that won (John Van Deusen and The Lonely Forrest) and they played an awesome set. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see me, or came out to see another band and enjoyed my set as well, and double thanks to all of you who bought my cd.  On that note, I am glad you guys liked my set but don't leave me comments on my page about how much you disliked the band that won. That's not very nice. And definitly not in the spirit of the whole Sound Off!! idea.
