Just finished another song, yet again recorded in Audacity: Life in Short.

I'm beginning to enjoy skipping the midi-phase and just recording stuff live. Although the songs do come out rather simplistic.

Just recorded some half-improvised stuff in Audacity... going to upload the result as soon as I figure out how this new myspace interface works.

EDIT: Ok, I figured it out. As I said this was recorded "live" in Audacity with no MIDI-sequencing (other than the drumbeat which was sequenced using my Radias). Drums and bass was one take recorded together, then each additional instrument. So it sounds sloppy as hell, just sayin'. ;)

FL-SUX... sequenced/recorded and "mastered" (Ho ho ho!) with the Fruity Loops Studio demo (Hardware: Virus TI desktop). Not a very enjoyable experience, although the software is pretty damn stable (you can't save in the demo, but render your finished song into .wav or a compressed format. I.e I was able to finish the song in one sitting without a single software hitch).

I wish I could sleep.

I composed and recorded Metrosphere this weekend, and it was mastered today by audiophile Kirppu. The song will be available as soon as Myspace has finished cavity-searching the mp3 file.

All the songs are made by Jonas Ström, but they are sorted under his other Aliases, such as Noceur (Synthpop-ish) and Zed Cactus (Country/western).

The player is Jonas own, made in flash as an experiment (so watch out for death and possibly digital herpes), and the quality of sound is 42kbps or something like that. Low quality.
