Greetings,

We hope this BLOG finds you well.  As you very well may know we entered the studio back in May and spent 3 months recording our first full-length album.  We are pleased to report that the new album (Fall Like You're Flying) is now recorded, mixed, and mastered.  We couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out.  Stay tuned for details on how you can get your hands on a copy.

We would like to formally announce that we have changed the name of the band.  We are now (echo echo).  Steve Carson Band was formed in late 2003.  Changing the band name is something that we have talked about for quite some time and it seemed fitting with our first full-length album to do so.  We have forged an unbreakable bond that, in time, has only proven to be stronger than ever.  The name change and the new recording represent an evolution that we welcome.  We hope you will do the same and join us in the next chapter of our journey.

We entered the recording studio on May 6 and have been working diligently on the new album. We're currently residing at Henson Studios in Hollywood tracking guitar, vocals and sprinkling love all over the recordings. During the sessions we have been capturing the magic on video and would love to share it with you. Greetings.....

We spent most of the summer working with a producer, writing and sifting through our material.  Our goal was to find the essence of every song and maximize every part.  After months of work we went to Henson Studios in Hollywood on October 11 and 12.  We recorded ten songs live over the course of 2 days.  No overdubs, no retakes, no corrections; just as you would hear us at a show.  It was important for us, after countless hours of preparation, to capture what we do in its purist form.  What came out of the weekend, besides an amazing time, were demos of ten songs that we love and a bond with a production team that we cherish.  We look forward to returning to the studio to record a full length album in which we can put more time into the production and pour more love all over it.  Over the next few weeks we'll be posting recordings from the 2-day session so please check back soon to hear more.  First up....."Dove".

I hope all of you enjoyed a safe and happy Holiday Season.  On behalf of the band, I would like to thank you for your overwhelming support in 2007!  Thank you for coming to our shows, buying our music, sending kind words our way via comments, emails and snail mail and for helping us spread the word!  Your support is vital and we can't thank you enough!
