There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game.
It's easy!
Nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time.
It's easy!
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE!

DON'T FORGET to write LOVE tomorrow!!!

Even though your words are poetic and moving I don't believe in them. I have wanted to move out of this town for so long but it was only recently that I realized I have all I'll ever need right here at my fingertips. The only reason I'm still considering moving is because of my love for Staunton. To challenge myself. I have relationships with people I've never even met that I will never have in any other city in the world. I partly blame myspace for that, but glances through coffee shop windows and cigarette brakes shared three feet from someone you would die just to have look at you is the majority of where my love comes from. Don't get me wrong: I am not a masochist. But you must agree that there is something quite beautiful about in needing that attention. That glance. That closeness to your soul mate. Even if the attention is negative, he still may have look. Did you see me? Do you see me? Even living for the unattainable is better than living for nothing at all.
Staunton, you have brought me all of this and so much more. I love you and the great things you have done for me. The cost of what brought me here was worth it and the friendships I have made here - although not all true - have shaped me into the person I am today. Thank you. You are far too often looked over and taken for granted.

To Sleep in Brooklyn is to Follow The Format of my Little Devotional ...Slowdance On The Inside. You made Your Own Disaster. Like your New American Classic. I only wish that This Photograph Is Proof (I Know You Know) that I Am Fred Astaire just like your my own Ghost Man On Third. The Great Romances Of The 20th Century show me that There's No 'I' In Team. You're my Head Club. My Bonus Mosh Pt. II. A Decade Under The Influence of a mix between a Liar and My Blue Heaven. You are nothing to me anymore. I Spin you from my memory. You are spun. I'll Let You Live for now but I will MakeDamnSure that The Blue Channel is all you hear. Like a Number Five With A Bullet or a One-Eighty By Summer, you are The Union, the Bike Scene. You Know How I Do. Miami, You're So Last Summer. Error: Operator, this Divine Intervention is through. You knew what you were Up Against (Blackout). So much so, in fact, that you Set Phasers To Stun and showed us what it feels like to be a Ghost. By the way: What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?

Things that bother me:

1. I hate it when people speak or write/type the English language (or any language) incorrectly. When there is a picture of you and another person you do not say, "This is a picture of Stuart and I." You say, "This is a picture of Stuart and me" or "This is a picture of me and Stuart." The rule is, for those of you that don't know, if you're going to explain something, it has to sound right if the other person is NOT in the story or picture. Example: "This is a picture of Stuart and I" isn't correct English if Stuart isn't in the sentence; "This is a picture of I." However, if you were to go to the movies with Stuart you WOULD say, "Stuart and I are going to the movies/went to the movies" because if you took him out now it would properly say, "I am going to the movies/went to the movies." Do you think you get it now?
2. If you were to meet someone and they said, "Hi, my name is Rachel" you wouldn't say, "Nice to meet you Rach!" You would call her by the name she told you, right? If you said yes to this than answer me this: Why do you call me Jackie if I told you my name is Jacqueline! I don't even like the name Jackie. I think it makes me sound like I have pigtails and sell buttered bread for a ha' penny a slice. Unless you've known me since elementary school, please stop calling me Jackie. Why? you might ask. Well, if you've known me since elementary school, you should know why. Joe, JT, and Tesstopher are the only three exceptions. Plus the only person that can call me Jackie with it sounding comfortable is Gaston. I'm not sure why that is though.
3. If you don't know the words to the songs, DON'T SING THEM!
4. If you watch porn on a daily or even weekly basis, you shouldn't judge other people (namely me) for the movies they watch (namely The Notebook or The Entire -Kind of- Winnie The Pooh VHS series).
5. Don't take something of mine and keep it for months and months on end thinking I don't know you still have it. I do know and I am mad. Aaricka, this is not directed towards you, but I would like Donnie Darko back.
6. If you didn't call me for my eighteenth birthday, which was March 9th by the way, you are not forgiven. If you have spoken to me since then and think we're cool please know we aren't. Again, Aaricka, this is not directed towards you.
7. Crickets.
8. Fire ants.
9. Other kinds of ants and all bugs for that matter.
10. Being too hot.
11. Being too cold.
12. When people confuse to, two, and too, as meaning the same things therefore being spelled the same ways. Also: your and you're - there, they're, and their - hear and here.
13. When people use basically, apparently, and supposedly incorrectly. It's not pronounced supposeBly!
14. Lists that end with an odd number.

Love,
Jacqueline (NOT JACKIE!)

^Who are the lesbians? I'll give you a hint: Victoria and Lindsey. Do you know now? Brandon does. Oh, Snap! I give myself kudos on that one! Moving on...

^You win money if you translate what this says. Yes, I do know what it says. No, you probably wont get it right.

^Totally me at the day care. His name is Niko. He is three, likes to dance, and has a broken arm. I would've saved him first.

It is difficult for me to recall
Ever having seen that wall.
It stands firmly, surrounding my door.
I can't understand how I missed it before.

But now I see it wide and tall
And I refer to it as "my wall".

How many times have I passes right through
This mass of plaster painted blue?

I never noticed as I went and came
This bold extravagance, timidly plain.

Towering loudly, not making a sound
As it plunges from the ceiling down to the ground….

Today is the day I went to the door.
I smacked into a wall and fell to the floor.
And looking up to see what I hit,
I noticed it.

I feel like my whole life is falling apart. I'm afraid that the smile I wear in public is the most illusive object I possess. I love that I have the power to fool everyone. I love that I'm leaving and never looking back. The people who have hurt me can no longer affect me and the people who I have hurt in the past are no longer my guilt. I am free from feeling. I am empowered by my indifference to everything, to everybody. Niente mai me non può dolere ancora. Niente mai non avrebbe dovuto tentare. Je suis libre.
I am going to become a painter. The pain and sorrow behind my eyes will slowly fade with the absence of my current, unfulfilling life. Je veux vivre où l'amour ne se fane jamais. Là où les coeurs ne se cassent jamais. Là où chacun est un saint et est bel intérieur et dehors.
… Of course I hear you!
You're the taste upon my lips when I wake.
Sometimes you're the only faith I have.
Searching… always searching for more.
I'm enslaved by you, but you make me feel as free as can be.
I want to touch you.
I'll catch your scent on the air and my feet don't
Stop, they can't stop! We must keep dancing in your name!
M U S I C
The only air I breathe.

I recently created a book list of books I have to start and finish reading by December 31, 2007. They are:

House Of Leaves by Mark Z. Danieleski - I found out about this book from a musician on myspace.com (myspace.com/poemmusic). He is amazing! Check him out! Anyway, his headline is "Chi dara fine al gran dolore?" which is a line in this book. I believe it means "Who will put an end to this great sadness?". Another line in the book is, "Not seeing the rip doesn't mean you automatically get to keep clear of the Hey-I'm-Bleeding part." I find that just beautiful. "Non sum qualis eram."

The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli - This just seems interesting. And hey, if I ever felt the want to take over the world I will have already read the "How to" book.

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller - Because I want to crazy?

As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner - Doesn't "Oh, I'm reading Faulkner right now" sound so intelligent and intellectual?

On The Road by Jack Kerouac - The book I am currently reading. I am so confused.

The Catcher In The Rye by J. D. Salinger - Billy Joel. Enough said.

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee - I read this and loved it!

1984 by George Orwell - Big Brother. I attempted this one last year and I want to start again.

Stranger In A Strange by Land Robert Heinlein - Billy Joel again. Enough said.

The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams - Sounds hilarious!

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

The Call Of The Wild by Jack London - I read this once and I think I liked it.

The Hunt For Red October by Tom Clancy

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey

Valley Of The Dolls by Jacqueline Smith - Everyone could use a good drug overdose book.

Ecce Homo by Friedrich Nietzsche

The Gay Science by Friedrich Nietzsche

Crank by Ellen Hopkins - Everyone could use a good drug book. the story of a young woman's fall from grace, into the world of methamphetamine addiction. Crank, crystal, glass, Tina. Whatever you might know the drug as, Kristina Georgia Snow calls it The Monster. Kristina is a straight A student, full of talent and promise. But a summer visit to her wayward father results in a journey toward madness.

Impulse by Ellen Hopkins - I don't know why, but I'm called to suicide. This is the story of three young people whose lives intersect in a psych hospital, after separate attempted suicides. It is about the things that brought them there, but more about the bond that forms between them.

Burned by Ellen Hopkins - This is the story of a young woman, struggling to find her place in the world in the face of abuse by the person she most adores: her father. She questions her family, her faith, and her ability to love and be loved. Suspended from school, she is sent to rural Nevada to live with an aunt whom she barely knows. There she finds love, acceptance and new knowledge about the things that have made her father like he is. But even there, her demons find her.

Glass by Ellen Hopkins - Everyone could use a good drug. This picks up where Crank left off.

Current mood:  sleepy

For the past five days I have been bed-ridden, nay, dusty-basement-couch-ridden. I went to the doctor on Tuesday to see what was wrong with me and we found that I had a sinus infection. This unbelievably mean illness has been the cause of my headaches and sniffles since Thanksgiving. I am pleased to say that after the doctor lady did some neurological tests on me she pronounced that I'm (as far as she can tell) tumor-free! Yea! Take that Jennifer Aniston! I'm feeling better but still not myself yet so I wont return to school until Friday. I have been, since Monday, watching extremely awesome movies and would like to now share my "Feel Good When You're Sick / One Thing You Should Never Watch Whether You're Sick Or Not" movie list with you.

Titanic: Classic! I watched this twice because it's so good! It's a movie that makes me think. If I were Rose I wouldn't have fallen for Jack. I would have gone for his Irish friend Tommy! Face it, he's not only hotter than Leo but he has an accent and he swears often. What a catch!

The Aladdin's: The first one is another classic! Although I didn't sing along out loud, I did catch myself on more than one occasion saying the lines with the characters. I do that a lot actually. I should probably try to break that habit. I tried to watch the second Aladdin (The Return of Jafar) but had to turn it off because I remembered that I hated that movie. I watched half of the third (Aladdin and the King of Thieves) last night but shut it off because I was tired. I might finish it today.

Now And Then: Love it! Love it! Love it! And highly recommend it!

You're Invited To Mary-Kate & Ashley's Sleepover Party: "If it's up to me, you'll R.S.V.P.!" You might ask me Why? Why on earth would you watch such an annoyingly loud and high-pitched movie when you have a headache? Why would you submit your ears to listen to the unbelievably obnoxious voices of five ten-year-old girls singing about the most unabashedly naive things like: putting fish and whipped cream on a pizza or getting sucked into a video game world or "unbelievably scary" things? I would answer: I have no effing idea! The worst move of my sick career to date was popping in this flick. It is the one movie you should never watch whether you're sick or not. And yes, I realize that it is a movie made for kids and yes, I did enjoy it when I was little, but I thought it was different, like intelligent and classy for a kid's movie. I guess I was wrong. Very wrong!

10 Things I hate About You: Heith Ledger! Need I say anymore?

The Princess Diaries: Robert Carmine! Actually credited as Robert Schwartzman but sexy nonetheless. He's the background on the big computer in our basement.

Mulan: This is, hands down, one of my favorite Disney films of all time! I'm not sure why but I can watch it like five times in a row and not get bored with it. I love the grandmother in it because I truly believe that when I grow old, I'll be just like her (minus the sagging earlobes and the Chinese thing, because no matter how hard I try, I will never be ChineseJ .).

Shrek: Sticking with the Eddie Murphy high I was on I put this on and laughed out loud the entire movie.

The Godfather: I have never sat down to watch all three parts of The Godfather consecutively, so I attempted it yesterday. I only watched Part I but I intend to watch Parts II and III today.

Taking Back Sunday Home Movies: The funniest videos ever! If anyone wants to see them just let me know and I'll share. I love Adam Lazzara.

Thanks for reading!

Jac!
