So I never post blogs in here, first in foremost.
And I also rarely dream while I sleep anymore.
But last night I had the most insanely lucid dream about being a tattoo artist; I remember my hands feeling the weight of the tattoo machine, I remember the rush and the adrenaline of satisfaction. I remember that sound; that sound that everytime I walk past a tattoo parlor, makes me itch to run in and get inked.
I've been fixating deliciously on plans for my next tattoo, and I've had so many requests (some unfulfilled, because I'm so scatterbrained) for me to do designs. So I admit it: I'm a little obsessed.
Lately, the plans I thought I had for my life are turning inside out, not going as planned. And I'm seriously considering pursuing tattooing, whether on my own or as an apprenticeship, because I think I'm in love.
There's something incredible about creating live art, ergonomic creatures and stories which walk and drink coffee and travel. Collaborating with another person, expanding my scope of inspiration and interaction.
I don't know.
