So... The Pride Of Chester James (our new CD) is available for PRE-ORDER! Finally, right? For those of you who can't stand the poor MP3 quality of digital files, we will now be releasing this album on Hi-Fi "compact disc technology". It's like an iPod but it's a round disc-like storage utility that plays the songs at their maximum fidelity. Crazy, right?? Click the banner below to order. It's only $5!

For every pre-order placed I will be doing something special. Just by looking at your name and where you live I'M GOING TO DRAW A PICTURE OF WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE andinclude it with your order. Not sure why I'm doing that... but it sounds fun. I'm sorry in advance if you come out looking really, really ugly. PRE-ORDER!

This is exciting. First CD is 4 years!

Below is the album cover for The Pride of Chester James. This album will be available on iTunes towards the end of this year, so stayed tuned for more info on that. Thanks to the ridiculously talented Joe Feliciano for creating some of the finest artwork we've seen in years.

What is "The Sleep Station EP" about?

"The Sleep Station EP" is hip-hop remixes inspired by the concepts and music of Eyeball Records' indie band Sleep Station. These remixed were created by two find Milwaukee gentlemen who go by the name THE URBAN CORRESPONDENT.

The Urban Correspondant are Milwaukee rapper Bassey Etim (Da Boss) and producer Gavin Werner (Sucka Productions).

The Sleep Station ep

"The Sleep Station EP" by The Urban Correspondant is a concept piece based on the electronic Sleep Station "Von Cosel" ep (www.voncosel.com) and full length "Hang in there Charlie(2003)" in which NASA sends two astronauts to assist an already orbiting staff of astronauts in the repair of an experimental new space station. What they discover upon thier arrival is a horrific example of negligence and they are abandoned by ground control for thier protest and left to die.

The record delicately explains their entire story: The bloodshed during the arduous training process, the horrors they witness, and the heartbreaking departure in which one of them gets to return home and the other must stay behind and die a slow death in the lonesome expanse.

Hello. Were entering a very ambitious and exciting time for Sleep Station. The recording process has started for the next release, and time will only tell what will happen. Right now we've been doing pre-production with old and trusted friends of the band. Hers a brief explanation from Dave....

"In the summer of 1997 I came across two 1 foot tall people at a state fair and ever since then the haunting image of their musical performance has led to many songs and stories created from the experience. Only now have I decided to put these songs together on one record. I am very much looking forward to working with my friends to do this record....we'll probably record in my basement, or bathroom, or wherever before we hand it over to our dear friend Daniel Goodwin to mix. I cant say for sure how long this will take, but from time to time we will post some of our progression and ideas up here for you to listen to. I hope you can come along or the ride."
