Hey everyone...

Just a quick update. We had a great time and rocked it hard at our shows in Chicago, Lafayette, IN, and in Baltimore (Insubordination Fest) this past week. We played with some amazing bands (Teen Idols, The Leftovers, 88 Fingers Louie, Methadones, Kepi, and many, many others! Our set at the Insub. Fest was a blast and ended with a great version of "Science of Myth" with Danny Vapid, Phillip Hill, and Kody Templeton guesting. It was great to catch up with a lot of fans (old and new) at these shows. Thanks for the support...we can't wait for the shows in the UK and Europe in a couple of weeks.

Hello everyone...well the rumours are true. We are finally getting back out on the road and doing some shows. We are scheduled to play the Insubordination Fest in Baltimore at the end of June, which should be a lot of fun! We will probably also play a couple of shows surrounding this event. We are also booking a UK/European tour for the second half of July. If you are a promoter and interested in getting in putting on a show, drop us a line! Squirtgun

Hello All!

We have posted two songs from our new "Broadcast 02.09.08" album which will be released on November 25, 2008 on Kid Tested/Go Kart.


The album is a live album recorded in Lafayette, Indiana on February 9, 2008 with the original Squirtgun line-up. One song posted is a portion of our live version of "Classics of Love," originally recorded by the band Common Rider (of which both Mass and Dan of Squirtgun were also members), and the other is an energetic live performance of the song "Headache All Day," which was originally featured as a studio recording on our debut self-titled album of 1995 on Lookout Records.

Hello all,

We have some updates regarding our new release (Broadcast 02.09.08) on Kid Tested/Go-Kart Records. The official release date is now November 25, 2008. It will be available on both CD and LP (on blue vinyl!!). The recording sounds excellent, and the packaging is awesome. It has extensive liner notes by our fearless leader Mass, as well as liner notes by Pulitzer Prize Finalist Luis Alberto Urrea, an amazing author whose most recent book is being filmed now with Antonio Banderas in the lead role.


One of the new songs on the CD/LP is "Across The Wire" which is based on the Urrea book of the same name. The booklet also contains many great photos of us in action. We will be posting a couple of mp3s from this CD/LP in the next couple of days. We are very proud of this release, so you please check it out if you have the opportunity.

Hello all!!!

Just a quick note to let you know that our new live CD "Broadcast 02.09.08" will be released on Kid Tested Records on October 21, 2008. It sounds great, and has all of our favorite classic Squirtgun tunes, plus a couple of new ones. It will be available on CD as well as 12" vinyl. Reserve your copy today!!!

Hello all...

Just a quick update...we are releasing a new live CD this Fall on Kid Tested Records. The CD was recorded at a show this past February...and it sounds great! 19 tracks and tons of energy! We'll post more info as we get it...

Squirtgun will be playing its first show in over two years on February 9th. The show will take place at "The Venue" in downtown Lafayette at the corner of 6th and Main Street. It will be a benefit for the YWCA program for the victims of domestic violence. $6 dollar cover.

Squirtgun singer Matt Hart will be doing an reading from his new book of poetry, Revelated, in Chicago this coming weekend at Myopic Books, at 1564 North Milwaukee Ave. at 7PM.  Poet Chuck Stebelton will also read.
