I just found out that a good friend and a wonderful man lost his life. I am inserting the story below as a link.

I met Tom when I was ready to record my first cd "Just a Taste" He heard my voice and decided I was someone he wanted to work with. There is no one better to work with for drum work. He really knows how to make the drums sing. Tom gave me so much. He taught me how to be efficent and one thing about my relationship with Tom that I most appreciated is that if I came in with a song that he thought was not up to the standard he had expected of me he was not EVER afraid to tell me so.

Tom helped me create my sound.

The last time I worked with him with my band was when we recorded Prayer and Stay with Me. After laying the music down, when it was my turn to work it was like Tom and I were reading minds. We barely had to talk. He would look at me and I would do a vocal line and then he would have an idea and right as he would start to tell me his idea I would get it and  just do it. Tom Pfaeffle has made me a better musician and I am humbled to have been his friend as well as a student and a client.

I was just in his studio 6 weeks ago doing some session work for him. Tom called me anytime he needed that gospelly voice. I was honored that he thought of me as often as he did.

Last time we worked together we ended up talking, catching up talking about his kids...how much he loves his wife...what a blessed life he has had, even asking me my thoughts about him buying a new car...

I do not believe there are many people in this world who have the special spirit that this man Tom Pfaeffle had. He was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known and probably ever will know. Tom Loved his wife and family so very much. He loved his friends and the people in his life. He touch all the people he has ever met. I am lucky to have had him as a friend. I am at a loss.

I am so sad!!

This world is a little less bright having him gone.

Tom I Love you. I am so sad to not have you here anymore.

To Val and his family...If there is ANYTHING you need from me...any way I can help....Please do not be afraid to reach out. You are my friend. My heart pours out to you....Please if you need me please call

A~

September 11th 2001

I am reminded by the emotions I still feel to this day.

When I am overcome with emotion I tend to be at a loss for words.  To this day....

7 years later...I still feel so much.

So very much.

I lost my brothers & sisters that day...

altho I had never met them...that day...

They became my family.

I just want to take time out & say to all those that lost their loved ones...
I am so sorry.

I want them to know that their family..their loved ones...

will always have a place in my heart.

 I will always remember them.

They will always be a part of me.

To all of those out there, in this country & abroad, who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the love of country...

Thank you.

You are always in my thoughts.

I will never forget.

 I remind myself every year....

I remind myself of the emotions that I felt that day...early in the morning...

I will never forget.

I still bring flowers to a makeshift memorial...Every year the flowers seem to get  fewer...That saddens me.

I hope others will continue to remember the lives lost that day & the men & women out there that continue to sacrifce their lives for us.

The lyrics to one of my favorite songs...

God Bless America

Land that I love

Stand beside her

And guide her

Thru the night with the light up above.

From the mountians to the prairies,

To the oceans

White with foam...

God bless America...

My Home Sweet Home

As a child this song always sparked a emotion in me...After 9/11 that spark became a flame.

This is one girl that will always remember.

I Promise...I will never forget!

A~

HEART for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

NEWS RELEASE

IN RECOGNITION OF THE ROCK GROUP HEART
AND THEIR PERPETUATION OF ROCK MUSIC
WE ARE STARTING A PETITION TO INDUCT
HEART FOR THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

HEART FOR THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME OFFICIAL SITE:
76Heart4Ever

GO ONLINE PETITION:
Online petition - HEART for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Seattle, Washington (June 6, 2008)~ The rock band Heart* released their first record 32 years ago in 1976. Opening the door for the rock and roll hall of fame induction process in 2001. (This group was formed in 1967 by Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher and Mike Fisher as The Army. They later changed their name to White Heart, and shortened it to Heart in 1974. The Wilson sisters, Ann Wilson joined in 1970 and Nancy Wilson in 1974, Mike DeRosier and Howard Leese joined in 1975.)

Collectively the rock group Heart evolved with symbolic melodies and lyrics full of expression that have made a major impact on the global perpetuation of the essence of rock and roll music for over three decades. In addition, an exceptional contribution in Heart's worldwide influence is the Wilson sister's massive revolutionary influence on other women in rock and roll history.

About The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Criteria
The induction criteria for performers in the Rock and Roll Fall of fame are as follows: Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record. Criteria include the influence and significance of the artist's contributions to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll.

*Disclaimer: Neither the group HEART, Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher, Ann Wilson, Nancy Wilson, Mike DeRosier or Howard Leese are in any way connected with the creation of this petition. This is the result of independent HEART aficionado's who have taken the initiative to voice their choice of inducting the rock group HEART into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Hey Everyone!!
Just another reminder about the Patches Pals 4 Life show!!

If you are from Washington State then you probably know
who JP Patches is. He was our local tv clown who
entertained both Kids & Adults.
He currently has Lymphoma & is having dialysis 3 days a
week. He just turned 80 on The 12th so this can be a big
Birthday party for a great man who was such a huge
influence in so many of our lives here. The proceeds from
the show will be going to Children's Hospital. JP will
present a check to the hospital along with Gertrude...His
girlfriend on his show.

This is a very important night to be able to thank him &
show our gratitude for all he has done over the years. If
you can please plan on coming to the show on The 19th at
The Temple theater in Tacoma- 47 Saint Helens Ave. Tacoma
WA.
The Night is going to be grand.
It will start out with Pat O'Day, Seattle Radio Icon as
the host & then JP & Gertrude will be up next talking
about the show, The Statue & Children's Hospital
My Band, The Aury Moore Band will be up next with Special
Guest Alan White performing with us on one song. I have
brought in a couple more players for this night. My band
is
Aury Moore
Eddie Mendoza- Drums & Percussion
Joel Gamble- Keys & Violins
Ronnie Dalesio- Bass
Robin Moxey- Guitar
Eric Robert ..s
Patrick Moore- Back up vocals
Julie Mains- back up vocals
Then Magic Bus will be headlining the night with Alan
White performing as a special guest & Spike O'Neil of KZOK
radio singing with the band.

Please if you could help spread the word & let people
know.
I would love to have a full house there to honor JP
Patches!!

Well...To all that were aware...Sammee my Beautiful little boy has decided to move on to the next lifetime.

Today I took him in for a check up...he was having some pain & We were not really sure as too why....

I took him in & we could not really figure it out but it seemed to be stomach related. I took him out of the vet...tail a waggin' planing to bring him back an hour & a half later....In the short time I had him with me waiting to return he took a turn for the worse....The belief is that he had a tumor that burst so within 30 minutes of taking him from the vet I returned with him colapsed & needing to be carried back in...He made the choice for me to let him go & he went very peacefully.

Once again tho...I am sad & at a loss as to how it is such a beautiful spirit has had to leave...

He was the sweetest Dog you could have ever met...so very gentle with all he met & such a lover...never a fighter...altho he fought hard for me...In the End....

Thank you to all that have check in on me to see how he has been....You have been so very wonderful & thoughtful...I could never find words to express...I have the best friends!

Current mood:  content

I have recieved many compliments on the Promotional Pictures that I have up on my page & my Ever evolving Profile Picture.

So...It seems to me that I should give credit to the man behind the camera who somehow...was able...is able..to bring out the best in me...

I have been a photographer myself & so when it comes to having my picture taken...I tend to get a little shy...I do not have that Automatic thing that my sister has...you pull out a camera on her & it is ALWAYS magic!! If I could only learn her secret!! I digress...

Anyhow Bliss is his name...(Or Jer...His Given name...) You can find him in my top friends on this page as well as the band page (The Sonic Earth Angels)

He has a gift of discovering the REAL You...He is a patient Photographer. He will click away until he knows he has it.... & then I need to point out his talent on the graphics end... There is actually one band picture here that he had to replace all the members of the band but me!! You would never know it! He Has an AMAZING gift...

If you are looking for a photographer & you are in the Seattle Area I would strongly urge you to give Bliss a call...

I have gone to him twice now...

I am thrilled with his work~
Thank you for taking the time to read this Blog~
