With the new album, 'AS U WERE', nearing completion, LB is gettin' ready to take some new songs on the road. All of our Australian L-Beezies will get a treat to some new music in December/January. Look for some extensive touring across the US and the globe in 2010 after the release of the new record.



Speaking of shows, make sure you get out to LB's FREE performance this Saturday in San Diego, CA at Cane's with the entire Lyrics Born Re-View! It's part of the San Diego Asian Film Festival and will feature LB with Joyo Velarde and the whole band. You don't wanna miss it!!

The buzz surrounding the new Lyrics Born album has been growing continuously since the release of the first single, "Funky Hit Records" earlier this year. Titled 'AS U WERE', the new Lyrics Born album is nearing completion. With 10 tracks in the can, and more on deck, this record is just about ready for it's 2010 release.
As y'all have heard from the variations between "Funky Hit Records" and "Pushed Aside, Pulled Apart", this new record once again sees LB pushing boundaries and experimenting with different musical directions.

Featuring a variety of guest artists including Sam Sparro and Lateef the Truthspeaker and with production by Jake One, Trackademicks and LB himself, this new album is not only full of that classic Lyrics Born sound, but you're going to hear things you've never heard before.

'AS U WERE' is dropping next year with plans for some major touring in 2010 in support of the new record. Until then make sure you pick up the Lyrics Born Variety Show Season Pho, featuring new tracks off the forthcoming album as well as remixes, mash-ups and exclusives you're not gonna hear anywhere else!

This weekend you can catch LB LIVE with The Lyrics Born Re-View and special guest vocalist Constance Lopez as they hit Vixens in Sparks, NV this Friday (September 25th) -- Harlow's in Sacramento, CA on Saturday (September 26th) -- and last but not least, Earthdance Music Festival in Laytonville, CA on Sunday (September 27th).
Our So Cal people can catch the big guy performing October 24th at Canes in San Diego, CA for a free show that will be part of the San Diego Asian Film Festival.

So make sure you get out to these shows as they will be some of the last US tourdates before LB heads to Australia in late December.
