Friends, lovers, brothers, sisters, great great granddaughters;
I wanted to write you a message, so there's no confusion with what's going on at Camp Joiya. Ready? Okay. Here we go:
Let me start off by saying last night was wonderful, and thank you to all the friends that came supported us. It was, indeed, our last show for quite a while, but by no means our last show.
Nolan, our guitarist, is moving to New York City later this month. We are greatly saddened, but Joiya is continuing like no other. We just finished Phase One of recording our new CDs, and will be returning to the studio for another week when Nolan stops by to visit, and recording a few more songs. We plan to release them in December / January or so.
As for playing shows, basically, we will be touring and playing shows on school breaks and weekends, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. We're planning on a week in November and two-three in December on the road. It'll be fun.
We still love each other and love all of you. So don't fret. Joiya isn't going anywhere. And that's the long and short of it.
Love,
Kaylan, Nolan, Cassandra, and Michael.
