Hey Everybody

It's Christmastime - I love Christmas!

My wife is the consumate Christmas fanatic and it's become contagious.  I have put up 3 trees, not to mention the wreaths and other decorations.  She's still going strong and I have no idea when it's going to stop.  So now it's become a part of my psyche and I have Christmas on the brain.

So...when Kingstreet asked us to do a MuthaFunkaz style Christmas record, I was more than happy to rally the troops (Gary Hudge and Irvin Madden with Sharon Adams on lead vocals, and Marc Evans, Biblical Jones, Allen Thomas, Brian Alexander, and Errin Madden on background vocals).  I want to thank them for their help in putting together what I think is a great song ("Our First Christmas") and I hope you think so too!  Kudos to Erin Madden who wrote the lyrics.  The song is available now on traxsource.com

As a throw in - just for your listening pleasure as a MySpace exclusive - is "White Christmas in the PJ's".  It won't be coming out - but feel free to listen, smile and dance a little bit.  Don't be afraid to get that Christmas spirit.

Hey Everybody

I know it's been a long time - but I am working on keeping this site up regularly.  It's pretty tough with my personal web page, Code Red's website and MySpace pages for myself and for the MuthaFunkaz.  I promise to make some things happen and keep you all updated a lot better than I have been.

2007 was an amazing year.  I really appreciate all of the support for my releases and projects - especially Ann Nesby - "It's So Easy", Marc Evans - "Given Me Joy", Michelle Weeks - "A Purpose".  These were stand out records and again, I really appreciate all the support.

WMC was great and I thank all who came out to support the first Code Red party.  Special thanks to my wife Kelly who manned the door for most of the  night, was extrememly nice to my guests, and managed to look fly the entire time (as usual).  

SPW  was amazing! Being on the mic performing "For the Love" with Kerri Chandler on the decks and keyboard behind me and the entire crowd singing was something I'll never forget.

In 2008

The 2nd annual Code Red Party @ WMC in Miami will take place on March 23.

The first Code Red release of 2008, Lisa Mack - "Where Do We Go" is scheduled for January 21st.  Check it out on CodeRed.com or on my MySpace music page.

It's FINALLY COMING...

The Marc Evans LP!!!! Scheduled for late March release and will include "The Way You Love Me"  "Given Me Joy" and a big handzonradio.fm hit entitled "Crescent Moon".

Code Red and the MuthaFunkaz are working on a ton of projects for 2008 - keep the feedback coming.
