Happy New Year to all!  As we reflect a bit on 2008, we are thankful that it was a busy year full of accomplishments and challenges too!  We realize that there is always room for improvement and so we look forward to inspiring, dazzling and surprising you; to being the best that we can in 2009.   

 We are truly grateful for your support, for the work you bring us and for sharing great moments and ideas too.  It is our pleasure to continue serving the belly dance community even better in 2009.

PROJECTS

One of our biggest focuses for the coming year is the MAKE A COSTUME SEMINARS; the next one is schedule for January 25^th 2009, for full details on this exciting event see: http://decotach.com/MAC%20VERTICAL.pdf.   This workshop will allow you to make a beautiful, professional & very cost effective costume with our help.

We want to keep it on the small side so that we can give everyone as much individual attention as possible.  So, we are looking for anywhere between 6 and 8 dancers who want to start the New Year with a gorgeous, perfectly made by you costume. 

This workshop will take place in Astoria, NY just 7 minutes from the Lexington & 59^th street stop.  It will take place all day, so bring lunch; we will have some refreshments as well.   An added bonus for this workshop is an evening gala where will be strutting our stuff in our lovely new costumes.

NEW ITEM

We have a new item we've been asked to make for you.  For all of you dancers having to carry your sword and canes in pillow cases and towels to your performances; help has come!  Available right away is a sword/cane carrying case made of sturdy and lined material; it can fit up to 3 items at a time $35.00.  Our thanks go to Erika Veils for this request.  To see more pictures of it go to: http://www.myspace.com/decotach

CUSTOM COSTUMES (for our local customers only)

As we continue to create beautiful and innovative costumes we have a particular change we need to implement.  We kindly request after a costume is finished that it be picked up in a timely fashion.  As many of you know I work out of my apartment and have very limited space to keep merchandise, materials and costumes all at the same time.   We will no longer hold finished items more than 6 weeks and will not be responsible for it after that time.  This information will be posted on the website. ALTERATIONS (for our local customers only)

We pride ourselves in the expert work we do in repairing and adjusting costumes bought elsewhere that don't fit, sometimes we feel like plastic surgeons with all the nip/tuck we are requested to do to.  We are happy performing this service for the community, but as with the custom costumes we kindly ask that alterations & repairs be picked up as soon as they are ready and will only hold them after completion for 6 weeks, after that we are not responsible for them.  This information will be posted on the website. DANCE

My alter ego Noora along with the lovely Najla Nikole and Leily will start the new year  performing at THE GRISLY PEAR on Sunday January 18^th, 2009.  We look forward to seeing you there.

CLASSES/WORKSHOPS

Private classes are on going and by appointment.  Please let me know ahead of time for a booking, semi privates are also available.  Workshops will be announced in advanced.
