I'm not going to apologise for the shocking video posted on the page today. It is a clip from a film made for the Police in Wales to highlight the dangers of using a mobile phone whilst driving. I think it makes the point and I hope it makes at least one person think twice and possibly save them a lot of grief,.. even their life. This is not something dreamed up by a sick mind, it is based of very real events that happen all too often on roads all over the world. That's why it's there on the page. Cheers Pete

Contrary to some rumours that seem to be circulating round MySpace, we are still very much in the business of streaming the very best and original of unsigned and independent music, 24/7 around the world! We are on the lookout for new DJs who would like to promote the amazing talent that we find, or that they have discovered in thier own area or country and if you happen to speak more than one language, that's even better! We would particularly like to hear from those in East Asia, Russia, Australia or anywhere you think doesn't get much promotion for unsigned and independent music internationally.Keep sending us your tracks for airplay. We are also looking for bands/artists to stream live gigs or sessions,.. which is great for fans who can't get to gigs, or just happen to live on the wrong continent to see you live!
Most importantly,.. KEEP ON ROCKIN'!!

The air has lost it's breath. I stand here silent now, Looking back in time From where these flowers grow. I was not there, I did not run, I did not smell the dust Nor hear the sounds Now etched in minds But still I felt the sudden shock Of what we cannot comprehend. Now still I stand, These miles away, Yet still with images in mind As fresh as yesterday. This was not some glorious sacrifice, A most un-holy waste of life And I shall not recall whose cause, But I'm still here,... So here I pause, To pray.

I noticed this in the news of technology bits this week,. ----AFP - Wednesday, March 12 07:15 pmTOKYO (AFP) - Sony Corp. said Wednesday it will soon sell a record deck that plugs into a computer to let vinyl collectors convert their analogue recordings into digital form. The turntable hooks up with a USB cable to a computer, where special software would turn the sound into MP3 or ATRAC format. The files can then be played on portable players such as iPods or put onto compact discs.Converting vinyl to data files was already possible, but the process was so complicated that few save for committed technophiles know how to do it."With this product, we want to offer a simple way for everyone to convert their full record collection, which are often associated with so many memories," a Sony statement said. But the turntable will not get rid of those scratches found on many old records. If the record skips or crackels, the imperfection will be reflected in the MP3 or ATRAC files. And unlike CDs, which can be copied nearly instantly onto a computer, turning vinyl into computer files takes the full time of the recording. The Sony machine, called PS-LX300USB, will go on sale in Japan in April at a price of around 29,000 yen (280 dollars).-----Hang on,.. isn’t this the same company who say that if we copy our legally purchased CDs from a Sony/BMG artist or band to our computer,.. they will sue our asses off for copyright infringement? Er right,.. I wonder what they might say if all the artists who have back-catalogues on vinyl, got together and sued them for ’ripping off’ their old recordings?? Somebody at Sony needs to sort out the real company policy there I think!

As we already pointed out, the friends here tend to swap in and out of the 'top slots' and the only reason for this is that we have so many amazing artists, they all deserve a top billing at some point! You will see that one more fixture joins Missing International, that of 'Finding Vu'. This is the page that one very determined lady has created with the aim of re-uniting families that were torn apart in the chaos that followed the American withdrawal from Vietnam. Not least in this is her own missing sister. We hope that by giving this both space on our page and also mentions in our broadcasts, maybe even just one person will find a memory that could lead to a lost child being returned to their family. Please take the time to visit these pages,... that 'someone' may be you.
Thank-you.

Hey peoples,.. sorry if you have had a bit of trouble getting hold of the stream recently, our host company had one of their servers take a dive and of course it had to be ours didn't it? Well, SevernStream are really efficient and they have put us on another server already so, go to PheonixRadioNet and click on the 'listen' link again. That will put you back on the new server,.. magic,.. nothing stops us getting out there! Thanks for your patience with this wee glitch,.. did we say we were perfect? Well the music is anyway! See you later,..
