Well, as you can see, my name is Marleaux (pronounced Marlo) Nichelle. I'm named after Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek and Marlo Thomas of That Girl; two independent ladies of 70's TV. Though I'm not anal about it, I do usually need to correct the pronunciation of my name. If I didn't, I would be Marla, Margo or Michelle, for the rest of my life. Though for 6 months as I worked as a temp-to-perm at my current job, I was Margo. It wasn't until I interviewed for a permanent position, that my boss saw that my name contained an L and not a G. I own the urban fashion blog LOLO'S CUBE. Lolo's Cube provides women with valuable insight on achieving a fabulous and fulfilled lifestyle. Whether the women are young, old, skinny, "thicker than most," rich or "just getting by," they could learn how to keep up with the latest trends and learn to look and live well, without breaking the bank in the process.
I specialize in finding the look-4-less as it's known, though I refer to this as designer alternates. If every, you see an outfit worn by a celeb, in a magazine ad or worn on the runway, just hit me up, and I'll do my best at finding a cost friendly alternate.
On The Cube, as I like to call it, you can also read my fashion critiques of celebrities, such as Alicia Keys, Estelle, Jada Pinket, Janet Jackson and many others that you may love, hate or love to hate.
During the intense fashion weeks, I also do runway reviews. The reviews can be time consuming, as there are multiple fashion shows going on during each day, but I try my best to keep up. This is my fist year at doing this online, before I would just soak up all the styles and images of fashion week, without an outlet. My season, my runway review will be more comprehensive than the last.
If ever you need style advice or just a shoulder to lean on, hit me up.
