Due to all of the e-mails I get on a daily basis, I have decided to make a blog for all the most frequently asked questions that I recieve.....

Q1: What is the secret to fast drumming?
A1: There is no secret formula to it, Just alot of practicing. Keep in mind that it will not happen overnight as well. Problebly a few years at least, but if you want it that bad, you know what you have to do!

Q2: What are the best exersizes for building up speed?
A2: Single stroke rolls are the best exersize for this. Practice them with your hands and your feet.

Q2: How can I get my name out there as a musician looking for work?
A2: Networking with other musicians helps, wether they are local or national, The internet is a great tool as well (Myspace, Youtube, etc), Buisness cards, And of course being a good player will also help!

Q3: How long have you been playing drums for?
A3: I have been playing drums for 18 years

Q4: How did you develop the swivel tecnique with your feet?
A4: I actually developed this tecnique unintentionally but it seems to work for me & how I have my pedals set.

Q5: What kind of pedals do you use & how are they set?
A5: I use Axis-A regulars and Axis-A Longboards. Both are completely unmodified. I like med-low spring tension with the leverage adjuster set in the middle. Beater height is set to strike the center of a 22'' head.

Q6: What kind of sticks do you use?
A6: I use Vic Firth 5AN Extreame.

Q7: Are you available for studio session or touring?
A7:Yes I am as long as Im not in the middle of touring or working with one of my bands. You can contact me here for more info.

What's up everyone? Just thought Id give you all an update on last year as well as the beginning of 2008! 2007 was a very exiting year for me. Not only did Divine Heresy release our Debut album "Bleed The Fifth", but it has been doing quite well! The response we got on the U.S tours as well as the European tour has been incredible. I want to thank everyone that has supported Divine Heresy for 2007. I'm definitely looking forward to see what 2008 brings. So after almost 70 shows in a van from oct-dec, it felt nice to take a break for the holidays. I was relaxing in upstate NY for a few weeks & now its time to get back to work. I will be at NAMM 2008 doing some really cool stuff, including some performances at the Ddrum booth 1/18/08@2:30 & 4:30, 1/19/08@12:30, 2:30, 4:30, And an Autograph signing at the Axis percussion Booth on 1/18/08@4:00. I'm going to be in and out of the Sabian and Vic Firth Booths during the day as well so come say hello! As for Divine Heresy, we will be back on the road starting Feb & are looking forward to a long and successful year in 2008! See you fuckers soon!
