29th - Monthly Book Club & Tea! Book Club begins at 1:00pm. We are currently reading Nigel Tranters book "Price of a Princess", fist in his series about Mary Stuart. Our Monthly Tea begins at 3:00pm. Everyone is welcome, family and friends as well as members. If you have a favorite cup you'd like to bring, please do! And, of course, snacks and treats are always welcome. The St. Andrew's Society of Mid-Maryland hosts the Frederick Celtick Festival every year at the Urbana VFD grounds in Urbana, MD.

On May 10, 2008, we will hold our 9th festival, and plans are in full swing. We have 2 very popular bands joining us this year, Enter the Haggis and Hunting McLeod, as well as many Pipe & Drum bands from around the Frederick area.

There will be an abundance of Celtic vendors, and , of course, much food and drink will be available.

The festival begins at 10am and vendors close up at 5pm. The evening concert goes from 7pm to 10pm, and is included in the cost of a ticket. (15.00 /person, children under 12 are free). You can also purchase a ticket for just the concert for 10.00. Parking is free!!
