Leading the Misled
It's happening tonight, we're crossing lines I feel like I look like I'm joking all the time Away from some form of unstable relation
You know how to put it best I'm totally impressed (It's automatic success)
I've echoed lines of hollow signs Had written off as a dead letter In reply, It's wasteful to say So I'll save you the hassle
You know how to put it best I'm totally impressed (It's automatic success) Should I quit while I'm ahead I'm leading the misled to their fullest extent (It's time & money well spent)
If it's happening tonight, we're losing light Should probably take this selfless act inside.
It Will Get Through
It's all bells, whistles & spinning wheels Chicago lights not far behind Harboring issues It's mainly you filling the blanks inside of my mind As if today was yesterday Familiar floors of nights before Empty rooms start filling We'll keep things moving goddamn willing
Unamazed, we burn We're fading into everything I thought we weren't Stand at last, we're at the back We have a glass, a glass, a glass, a glass
You never really cared what it took to get out there I need you to know that it's unfair Not worth your weight or the waiting around we did But, who's to kid? I'm holding you to it We'll get through
It's all smoke & mirrors A trick we learned to occupy and pass the time Though, this time you wouldn't buy Another try and try A try and try As yesterday's destination Is today's pointless conversation
You never really cared what it took to get out there I need you to know that it's unfair
Not worth your weight or the waiting around we did
But, who's to kid?
I'm holding you to it
We'll get through (It will get through) I'm holding you to it.

"Leading the Misled" and "It Will Get Through" were recorded by Dan Coutant at The Sun Room in Cornwall NY and Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor NY.
Though we're told they maintain our "trademark" PR sound, we feel that the new material encapsulates the direction we're heading (or have been heading) with our songwriting and also from a sonic standpoint. Power-Jazz/Math-Pop/Post-Rock/Indie/Progressive...call it what you will.
How about Rock?
We hope to have an EP finished sometime before the end of the year, released on a label yet to be determined. 'Til then, we will continue to write & record at our leisure and make songs that we (and hopefully, YOU) care about.
This is it. Enjoy these new songs!
-Sean
P.S.- For info on Dan's studio go to: myspace.com/dancoutantmix or find him in our Top Friends
P.P.S.- Keith & I are also now playing with Dan in a band called Fireworks Go Up! now and will be writing and rehearsing for our first show on August 21st at Olive's in Nyack NY. Kind of a straight-up, don't give a fuck power-pop trio a la Ted Leo & The Pharmacists. Please friend us, too!

For real now, this is it. Enjoy these new songs!

Hi friends,
We've just wrapped up our East Coast tour with the amazing Parms from Japan! We all just wanted to extend a blanket "thank you" to everyone who came out to see us, bought our merch, fed us, paid us, bathed us, bought us drinks and/or housed us on our trek from NY to FL to NY. We met some really amazing people on this tour and will never forget your generosity and hospitality.
Park Ranger will be playing some shows in NY in the coming months, as we settle back into our studio to begin pre-production for our next release. We have some ideas stirring around and can only say this next album will indeed be "different" than our previous LP.
Also, our filmmaking French/Freedom friend Florian Coste, who traveled with us and Parms these past few weeks will begin editing together the raw footage of our shows and our experiences on tour. Expect updated on this in the next few months as well.
Thank you for your ear, Sean Park Ranger
