Shirts for a Cure is looking for help promoting our show during this years SXSW festival. We are looking for gorilla style, grass roots promotion – posters and stickers to be plastered all over Austin in the weeks and days leading up to SXSW. In exchange we are offering guaranteed admission to our showcase – Hot Water Music, Paint It Black, Dead To Me, The Gaslight Anthem and Drive By. Baltimore, Maryland – February 7th, 2008 – Hot Water Music will be playing the Shirts for a Cure/Photo Finish Records showcase during this year's South By Southwest music festival in Austin, TX. This all ages, day event will be held Friday, March 14th at Red 7 (611 E. Seventh, Austin, TX) . . . and it will be FREE. This will be Hot Waters ONLY appearance during SXSW. Doors will open at noon and the club is going to fill up quickly – please plan on being there early. There will be not guest list for this show.

The Orange County Race for the Cure - Newport Beach, CA - September 23, 2007

Lace up your walking shoes and get ready for this year's fun filled Orange County Race for the Cure. Once again, SSE and Freeze Management will be fielding a team and we want YOU to be part of the fun on September 23rd in Newport Beach, CA. As most of you know from participating in years past, this low-impact 5K walk is the perfect way to show your support for an organization you believe in and a wonderful way to start a Sunday. Plus - you get an exclusively designed Team SSE shirt. We are looking for everyone and anyone to join us on this meandering stroll through the early morning streets. With your help we would love to field a HUGE team this year.

Baltimore, Maryland – July 5th, 2007 – The Shirts for a Cure Project (SFAC) is proud to announce the addition of brand new shirts from My Chemical Romance, Killswitch Engage, Mastodon, Chiodos, Jacks Mannequin, Saosin, Aiden, Circa Survive, Paramore, The Sounds, The Bled, Bane, Inquisition, Alexisonfire, The Graduate, Yellowcard, The Spill Canvas, Dustin Kensrue, Envy on the Coast and the legendary Gorilla Biscuits. These bands along with more then 90 others have teamed up to join in the fight against breast cancer.

The Shirts for a Cure Project features limited edition t-shirts from various bands to aide The Syrentha Savio Endowment (SSE) in its efforts to provide funding for chemotherapy and other medication for underprivileged women who cannot afford the growing expense of fighting breast cancer. Since its inception, SSE has awarded gifts to organizations in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles that help women in struggling neighborhoods find the means this killer.

Looking for help

We need help handing out postcards and catalogs at the Inquisition reunion shows on May 18th and 19th in Richmond, VA. If you are willing to hand our information to kids exiting the show I will have you put on the list and you will be able to experience an event that has been sold out for months. Shirts for a Cure will be once again joining the fray at this years Bamboozle fest in northern New Jersey this weekend (May 5th and 6th). Along with many of our favorite classics from bands such as My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Saves The Day, Armor for Sleep, Silverstein, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything and The Bled – we will also be debuting new shirts from the likes of Circa Survive, Paramore, Aiden, Gorilla Biscuits, Envy On The Coast, Alexisonfire and The Graduate. If you are planning on attending this year's Bamboozle madness be on look out for us, stop by to say hello and to take a peek at what we are offering.
