Demize from Locofest 2009


We have five guitarists working on learning the tunes to audition, three are from Florida and two are from out of state. We are still looking for more people to try out, so if you are a guitarist or a drummer in south Florida, or know of one, please send them our way, WE WANT TO PLAY LIVE AGAIN! Big shout out from Madsic to all of you for all of the support, props, and help we have been getting while we are looking.

Our best game plan is if we find two guitarists that fit what we are looking for we will go with two, or find another one later. The new music is going to be heavier while more melodic at the same time, while still retaining the Madsic sound. We also have a drummer working on the tunes that is from Sweden, he is moving to the states at the end of the year.

Well, it appears we have quite a fan buzz going on while we look for a new guitarist. Friday we broke our old record of daily profile views with 1,717 views only to come back Saturday and beat that with 1,745, sending us over half a million views!

Thanks for all of your kind words and support while we audition for a new guitarist and drummer. We are feeling very positive about this change and are looking forward to taking this to the next level with the right people. The new music is coming along great, and we have been through all this before.

Thanks for being Madsic Fans, there are none better!

Evil with Madsic gave a lecture last week to a group of kids from Power Chord Academy in Los Angeles. It was quite an experience, the kids were just starting out in bands. If you know anyone that is just starting out in a band, invite them to contact us and we will send them the contents of the lecture, about 10 pages.
