Khmer Girls in Action is a member of the Reproductive Justice Network, a national coalition supported by Third Wave Foundation.

Khmer Girls in
Action along with other youth organization are launching our first National Week of Action for Reproductive Justice.

KGA is proud to launch two videos!

1) The Reproductive Justice Network Video on our collective definition of
Reproductive Justice.

You don't have to be a member of the RJ Network to participate in the
National Week of Action for Reproductive Justice! You can organize your
own event and report back on our blog! Tell us about your activities by
emailing Tara at tara@thirdwavefoundation.org to join our blog.

2) KGA is celebrating our first National Reproductive Justice Week by
launching our own video on our definition of Reproductive Justice and how
it intersects with Immigrant and Refugee rights.

Khmer Girls in Action is currently in the process of developing a Fall campaign. This summer, kga has created a community assessment project where our members create surveys and interview youth ages 14-21, people of color, living in the Long Beach community, trying to identify issues and problems people see in the community.
We are going around surveying people in the community and asking them what problems they see. We then take those issues and figure out which ones affect us most in different ways, so that we can create a campaign out of it. We want the community's input because we are the ones living in the disparities (problems) and are struggling through this. It is an opportunity for us to step up and say we are not going to settle for what is here, and that we want more, so we are here to create change, and better our community.

Please help kga by filling out this survey. Thank you for taking the time to do so and please try to answer as many questions as you can. Have a nice day
