Southern Comfort Calendar 2010
The Year of the Southern Gentleman

Release party December 6th at 6 pm at LuLav (220 W. 6th Street, Little Rock)

Proceeds benefit the T.U.R.N. project's continued mission to bridge the social justice gap between the art forms and the lives of ordinary individuals.  T.U.R.N. is a non-profit creative literacy group that serves Pulaski and the surrounding areas, providing a forum for young artists to showcase their talents.

The 2010 Southern Comfort calendar showcases some of the hottest male models in the South!

This Tuesday, November 24th, from 6 to 8 pm, JT Studios is hosting auditions for an upcoming movie.

The movie script is based on a popular musical, and there are many roles to fill.  Casting all types of adults and a child's role for an African-American girl.

Please come with a monologue prepared.

You will be asked to cold read the script.

We're looking for female models, ages 18 to 30, for a photo shoot on Sunday, July 26th at 9 pm.  We're looking for young women who are poised and confident in front of the camera.  The shoot is for a local musician, and the photos will be used in his promotional material.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS AGAIN FOR ARKANSAS’ FIRST-EVER ORIGINAL STAGE PLAY, FREEDOM!

Casting call for the T.U.R.N. Project's original production of the dynamic stage play, FREEDOM.

Anyone interested should come prepared to cold read a provided script.  If you're auditioning for a singing role, have a song prepared to sing.

Qualified persons should be available to practice at a minimum once a week and at maximum three times per week. Travel required for the Nashville performance.

                                    The roles available are as follows:

1- Angela Jones, 20-something black professional female w/ an attitude. She's from an underprivileged area in Northern California, but after getting her degree, lands a new job in an advertising firm.

2- Lena Delance McGee, young adult plus size female from a wealthy family in the south who aspires to be a singer. Must be able to sing.

3- Diane "D.D." Jenkins, a young night club dancer/college student from Atlanta. Must be able to do choreographed moves and wear lingerie.

4- Richard Moore, an openly gay adult male from Memphis, Tenn. who doesn't fit the stereotypical profile of homosexual men.

5- Xavier Washington, a professional adult black male prosecuting attorney from Seattle, Washington.

6- Jimmy Johnson, a young male hustler/rapper from California. Must be able to rap.

7- Maya Fields, a young adult white female freelance writer from Little Rock, Arkansas.

8- Pam, a very ordinary adult religious female.

9- Lil Pam, a very ordinary child version of adult Pam.

Extras- many extra roles available for ages 15-up, some singing roles and dancing roles available. PLEASE BRING ANY MUSIC NEEDED FOR DANCING OR SINGING! (a cappella encouraged)
