You know what sucks about going to the US and Mexico - American Airlines (incompetent, unfriendly arses) and airport security.

Both of these things are completey ineffective and just hold you up.

So I'm sitting here in some crappy airport hotel in the outskirts of Dallas, the only place to eat is Deny's and I'm sitting in the same clothes I have been travelling in for over 24 hours (so I must stink) and I am on another red eye flight, so I have had next to no sleep.

So I am a little pissed off and if another American Airlines person greets me in a dead pan, robot-like voice with the obvious air of grace of someone that has lost the will to live several decades ago and says 'good day Sir how are you' I will probably shove their shiny little silver wing badge so far up their arse that I could pin it to their tonsils.

If you are booking a flight avoid Amercian Airlines. I did for 7 years due to another such experience and see what happened when I returned to their limp, loveless arms.

Now I'm off to Mexico, thank god!

I'm spending my last day in oz before coming home to the UK.

Here it is sunny. In the UK it is not. Here the beer is cold. In the UK it is not. Here I can get a surf in that is worth mentioning. In the UK I cannot. Today I eat steak that makes me weep. In several days I cannot.

Anyhow, the cricket, what a farce.
