We're in a time machine!
This is Dave Diotalevi wishing you the happiest New Year you've EVER had!
It was just 2008--but, that time machine that we call life has propelled us into this brand new year2009!
What will YOU do with it? Will it be better than the past? the same? even worse?
Don't worry! It'll be all those things--and more. How do I know? Because it always IS!
Just enjoy the parts that are better, and try to make them even more so.
Every once in a while, ease up on that throttle of your time machine--make it stand still and just take in where you are at the moment and be completely satisfied with where you are, what you've got--and WHO you've become. Sure there're parts of you that are crappy! Join the club! LOL!
BUT--there are other parts that are admirable, and even spectacular. Admit it--even if it's just to yourself.
This is Dave Diotalevi talking to you from a frosty town in Massachusetts: welcome to 2009. You've just arrived--stay a while--a year would be nice.

Dark December--the darkest month of the year.
The days are short and we need more light in December. We're lucky to have the Holiday lights blazing.
This is Dave Diotalevi wishing you, my Myspace friends, the happiest of holidays this month.
It's just a year since I first started meeting you all on Myspace--and now 26,000 of you have visited me here. WOW! Thank you all!
You brighten this month for me--as you do each month--with your messages and comments--your good humor and encouragement.
Happy holidays to your all--you are my lights, and December would be much darker without your visits!.

I want to wish all my Myspace friends a sincere and happy Thanksgiving--no matter where you are in this tumultuous world of ours!
I thank you for following my exploits--all the ups and downs that I, like all of you have experienced. Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement and questions about writing and about me personally. I'm truly grateful to know each and every one of you.
Take a moment and reflect on all those little things we all take for granted--and the BIG things we take for granted too (like good health, friends, and family)--and let a warm tide of satisfaction and appreciation wash over us.
Thanks again to you all--you don't know how much your attention, comments, concerns, questions, and caring have meant to me.
yer pal.....Dave

I just wanted to share my anniversary with everyone--it's a strange one!
On October 14, 1977 I set out to break my personal running streak record of 10 days. I did it--and lots more because I haven't missed a day since then!
31 years today! Think of all the days in the last 31 years that you've felt tired, or it's rained or snowed or been freezing and windy! Think of the times you've been sick.
Well--on those days, I laced up the sneaks and went out running!
It takes dedication mixed with craziness to keep it going. But I thought you'd find it interesting.
yer pal...........Dave!
