Hullo all!!
Next week, the
Resistance Gallery (Bethnal Green, London) is host to a great event mixing art and music: the RARE show.
RARE (Rock And Roll Expressionists) is the brainchild of my husband Tom who came up with the idea of teaming up with other artists who also happen to be musicians, in order to offer a unique art exhibition combined with live music.
The first outing of this collective of artists/musicians is taking place from the 30th Nov until 4th Dec 09, and features 5 talented peeps: Vince Ray, Gaye Advert, Tyla, Nick Reynolds and Tom Spencer.
Throughout the week, each artist will be playing with his/her band (apart from Gaye, who will be represented by her partner TV Smith). The opening and closing nights will each have a special set by the house band (in which they all play!).
All events are FREE, but places are limited. For guaranteed admission, please email

Monday 30th November: opening party - INVITATION ONLY
Tuesday 1st December: the Loyalties + Vince Ray & the Boneshakers (special line-up feat. MOI and Miss Miranda, whoopee!!)
Wednesday 2nd December: Nick Reynolds (Alabama 3) and guests + TV Smith
Thursday 3rd December: Tyla and the Dogs d'Amour
Friday 4th December: closing party feat. house band
Please note that this is an art event, therefore the gigs will take place earlier than usual - come early if you wanna see the bands (doors open 7pm on all nights)!
