Have you had any road blocks lately? If so, the first thing you need to do is pray and seek the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to show you if the road blocks are God road blocks or enemy road blocks. The Word of God tells us to try the spirits to see if they be of God. Too many times we don't do this and we get discouraged because we think God has failed us and He hasn't. He's trying to help us.

Many years ago Linda and I were in need of a travel vehicle for our ministry. We had our hearts set on a Blue Bird Motor Home. We just knew this was what God wanted for us. But road blocks began to appear. Our Pastor at that time was J. C. Hibbard, a great man of faith. We asked him to agree with us that we get this motor home. After a few days he called and said he didn't feel this was the vehicle that God had for us. That was not what we wanted to hear. We really wanted that motor home. But no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get that motor home. We finally realized that this was a God road block. And thank God we listened, because shortly after that we got a custom bus designed just for us! And it was far bigger and better than the motor home we had wanted.

So today if you are facing a curve in the road, a stop sign, or a danger ahead sign, don't get discouraged. If you have prayed the situation through, and recognize God is in it, then go forward as He moves you. He will direct you and show you when to move. When we put our faith, hope and trust in God and listen to what He is saying, then we will not fail.

Today Linda and I are facing road blocks. We know God has called us to feed the poor and He has given us the heart to do the job. The lack of not having our own building has slowed us down. But we haven't stopped. The need for more partners has slowed us down. But we haven't stopped. We are continuing to seek God and as we do He will show us His way.

We thank God daily for our partners. The love, prayers and financial seeds have kept our hearts alive with passion for helping the poor. God gave us a plan in 1998 for reaching out to these people and we still are focused on what He showed us in the plan.

I want to encourage you today to Stay focused on your mission and not the road blocks! When you are faithful, God in return will be faithful to you. He will let you know what to do, when you listen and obey Him. We call you blessed in Jesus Name.

Anointed and appointed by God into the five fold ministry as an Evangelist, Larry Joe Wright brings the gospel message of hope, healing, and deliverance in a very powerful way. Larry Joe will lift your spirit with laughter as he shares the good news that God sees people where they are, and through the power of His Word and prayer, they can change and remain changed. Larry Joe is blessed with a special ability to share God's powerful grace, and through that grace, restoration will come.

Since 1970 Larry Joe & Linda have traveled full time as Evangelists.  After a series of losses in 1989, which left them downcast and broke, God's divine intervention proved that no situation is ever hopeless. On January 1, 1993 while employed at the Home Depot, Kenneth & Gloria Copeland came into the store, and the restoration began. On January 19, 1993, a Prophetic Word given by Kenneth Copeland to Larry Joe & Linda brought a new anointing and a fresh fire to their lives and ministry.

Larry Joe & Linda are reaching out to hurting communities across this nation as they minister the Joy, Peace, Hope, and Healing that only Jesus Christ, the Anointed One can offer. When they are not traveling they are reaching out to the hungry and needy through a Food Ministry Center they have put together for those living in the Ft. Worth area.

Because the Wrights have so dramatically experienced the Grace of God in their own lives, the anointing that flows from them effects and touches the people they come in contact with.

Larry Joe & Linda walk in the testimony that, "One Word from God changed their lives forever...and It can change yours too." They operate powerfully in the Gifts of the Spirit. The blind see, the lame walk, and the deaf hear.

Larry Joe Wright Ministries/Life Unlimited is based in Fort Worth, Texas under the full blessing and covering of their home church Eagle Mountain International Church/Kenneth Copeland Ministries and their Pastors, George and Terri Pearsons.

January 2, 1993 is a day that will live on forever in my mind. After 23 years of full-time ministry, I was now working for Home Depot in Ft. Worth, Texas. I couldn't quite figure out what had gone wrong in my life, and on the way to work that Saturday morning I began to pray. I said, "God, I need some answers!" and God answered me that day in a most unusual way.God has appointed times and divine interventions for each one of us. I didn't know it, but I was on my way to having one of those appointments.

After I had taken my morning break, I was on my way back to the section of the store that had hot water heaters and I looked up to see Kenneth Copeland standing in the main aisle. My feet froze!!! I said, "You're Kenneth Copeland". He said "Yes, and what's your name?" I told him that my name wasn't important and I went on to tell him my story. I said, "I've been in full-time ministry for 23 years, and 3 months ago I found myself working here and I don't understand why." I went onto tell him that I didn't particularly like him, but I'd seen him on television a couple of times. Next I found myself saying, "I've never sent you any money, but I need you to pray for me." I thought that maybe he might think of me later and say a short prayer for me.

Brother Copeland stood there and looked straight at me with those piercing eyes of his and said, "Why, that's okay". His wife Gloria walked over to him and they began to pray...right in the center aisle on one of the busiest days of the year. I wasn't sure I wanted him to pray right there and then! And when I say they prayed, I mean they PRAYED!

When they finished praying, Gloria invited me to attend a meeting they were having in a few weeks at Eagle Mountain International Church. They left and I went back to my aisle and began to work. I looked up from what I was doing and here came Brother Copeland again, this time grinning from ear to ear. He caught hold of my hand and said, "Boy, I forgot to shake your hand goodbye". Glory to God, he left a $100 bill in that hand!

Linda and I attended that meeting at the church with only $5.00 to our name. As the meeting began, Brother Copeland called me to the front and began to speak words of life into me. He then called Linda to come down, and when she did, he gave us a prophecy that changed our lives and ministry forever. We went back to our seats as happy as we could be.

As Brother Copeland began to receive the evening offering we placed our last $5.00 in the basket, believing that God would take care of us. When the offering was received, Brother Copeland called us back down to pray over it. We did, and as I was finishing, Brother Copeland began praying. When he finished, he turned and said, "This offering is for you to get re-established in the ministry and pay some bills." Praise God!!!

After that night, I continued to work at Home Depot until September of that year. Even though that was fourteen years ago, the memory of it is still fresh and alive to me – just as if it happened yesterday. Linda and I went back into full-time ministry in September of 1993 and haven't looked back since! God's grace and mercies go on and on for those He loves...and we never cease to thank Him for it!
