Current mood:  stalked
This monday the 1st of June we're doing a live to air on RRR at 6:30 in the nifty performance space they have.

If you're a RRR subscriber, you can come and watch the show, I think you better listen to RRR to find out exactly how to get tickets... I'm not too sure.

Or else you can buy the album from chaos.com and that'll get you in.

Alternatively, you can stay at home and tune in to 102.7 and experience it without the visual aid of fairy lights, facepaint and extreme wheeze's cod piece.

plus, instead of blogging here in myspace land, we tend to let loose with a few blogs here: http://www.aleksandtheramps.com/rampsdiarise/

hi

after a while being on a free (and thus, shizer) website hosting thing, and subsequently maxxing out the bandwidth by using it to plaster a flash animation all over myspace, www.aleksandtheramps.com is now back in action.

huzzah!

go to it if you wanna, there are some few things, not much really but soon there'll be a webcam set up in our HQ 20 kilometers below the surface of the earth.

uhh... what else. do people read these things?

phhh.. as if

we're going to tassie. new songs are slowly infecting our live shows like a new strand of cat AIDS. some demos will be recorded soon, and they will probably be featured here if we feel like it.

bye bye for now

long time no no blog.
we just went and toured a bit, played some music and made chandeliers out of sausages at the great escape festival. now we are back and captain rad, the booty shaking drummer in the ramps has announced he is moving to perth (long story) and now we need to find someone to be a ramp.
of course we are not looking for a replica of the captain, as one does not exist. if anyone out there is interested in the slot, feel free to message us here on the mmyspace thing, or email rampsassemble@gmail.com
perhaps watching these youtube movies from the tour might show what it takes to be a ramp.

from brisbane, filmed on a mobile phone (i think):
