its been really crazy here with these three shows back to back -- looking forward to taking some time off in may to just chill outdoors.   a gallery in texas will be taking me to a show in Vegas in may so i'll update my site with info as i get the booth information.

today is my bday!!  i am 37 -------- fuck that sounds old! -- but i feel 20 so   it's all good!

this month is crazy... want to really blog about BIG BROTHER and all my reality shows.. but no time. if you are in the north carolina area you can come see several new original works exhibiting in high point north carolina during high point.  this is a show for the trade -- mainly for us to make connections with new designers looking for fresh contemporary art for their upcoming projects and furniture stores wishing to carry my line of fine art giclee prints.

i started a new series of works last month and i’m calling this series my paper cut series.. hubby came in to my studio one day when i was working on the second painting shown below (him coming into my studio when i am painting is well... basically FORBIDDEN) - so he comes in and he hands me an envelope from a friend he thought i’d want to open -- which i did.. but i still peered over my glasses with my ’you know you aren’t suppose to be in here look’ --- so i very impatiently slide my finger in and rip into it and gave myself a wicked paper cut on my index finger on my right hand.  i cursed... hubby laughed...  and i threw a paint brush at him

anyhooo.. i’ve done quite a few works in this series already.  it’s been a lot of fun and i’m really enjoying them - hope u like them.

okay haven't blogged in awhile... working on some new works for an upcoming exhibit in los angeles... hubby had a b-day.. moosey got sprayed by a skunk the night before hubby's b-day (so we will always have something to remember) -- a few baths later and he is still a bit skunkified

--------------- ST. BALDRICKS ---------------

first i want to blog that my girlfriend and son are shaving their head for st. baldricks. --- don't know if you all know want that is... i've known about st baldricks for a few years because patrick elwood (chicago news broadcaster has participated in it for the past few years and they've really made it a big deal in the Chicago area).  St. Baldricks was started to help raise awareness and funds to help cure children's cancer.

so she is trying to raise $5,000 and i told her i would put her in my blog and newsletter in the instance someone wants to donate a couple of bucks.

that page above is there page -- they are going to go BALD - god bless 'em -- i don't know if i could do that --- i have a serious thing for hair  i know i know completely vain of me.... i would like to say i WOULD do it... but...  not quite sure i could. so HUGE kudos to her!! 

and because it wouldn't be ME if i didn't put in my two cents on the 'cancer subject' -- ANYONE with Cancer.. be it themselves or a loved one would do great things for themselves by learning about the role of nutrition/diet and cancer.  I encourage anyone with Cancer to research the life stories of Dr. Lorraine Day, or Brenda Cobb to name just a couple.  I encourage you to do your own research into diet/lifestyle changes and the reversal of disease -- there are literally thousands of stories out there -- do some research into raw foods, professionally supervised fasting (dr. fuhrman, dr. alan cott, etc).  there is information out there for those who either don't want to cause further damage through chemotherapy and surgeries.. or those who have tried conventional medicines methods and they've failed them.

my sister in law works for the U.N. so she got a couple of pics of him...

yes... i am too impressed with celebrity... but apparently i am not alone.  (that's my sister in law on the far left - burgundy dress (which is adorable btw!)

okay so george went to the U.N. for something important... well as important as anything can be when you mix celebrity with politics   - he was getting an award or something.. not to take anything away from it... could be terribly important, i am just not so sure what it was.

i know that almost every woman thinks george is dreamy... and he has really great eyes... but i just can't get the picture of him in the facts of life out of my head

mari lou (sp?) - was FIRED! (boo!) really liked her.   though TITO is still in!! woohooo --  THOUGH HE DOESN'T LOOK NEARLY AS CUTE WITH CLOTHES ON!  LOVE carol --- i wish she would say something about RAW foods however ----  come on carol!!!! (give us some promotion please!) --  i was hoping she would have said something during the HOT DOG challenge --- UGGGGHH.  so i want the raw foodist to win.. of course.. and she is still hanging in there.

BIG BROTHER

thought i would hate it.  am addicted already.  sheila is C R A Z Y.  if u get showtime seriously... it's insane sheila (the ex-penthouse model) really has serious issues -- and i feel bad that her child may watch her on t.v. (i think they should remove her). two girls almost died in the house the other night --- ones tongue swelled up and she was covered in hives they had to rush her to the hospital, another girl i guess passed out and had a seizure or something all at the same time???  i think i dislike them all equally   don't have a favorite.. sheila is my least favorite. 

i've been doing my 'oh my god he/she looks like' -- with everyone in this house... jen the girl that was kicked out... is it just me or did she look  ALOT like heidi klum? -- and chelsias boyfriend/soulmate -- he looks like MO (the bartender from the simpsons)... the dark headed girl with the BIG BUTT... she looks a bit like a dark headed janelle from past bbs.  i've got to do some side by sides...

love the guy that ryan said the other night looked a little bit like justin timberlake.  -- the rocker guy with the long hair and the bandana.  missed the night the 12 girls went.  doesn't matter... i want the rocker guy to win.

I LOVE CHRISTIAN AND HAVE LOVED HIM SINCE DAY ONE!!!! yes.. he is a bit.. well i hate the word conceited --- i think a few have called him that... but i call it CONFIDENT!  he is CRAZY TALENTED.  i have to say - especially considering his age - that he is hands down the best designer to have been on any of the shows. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HIM! - LOOOVE HIS HAIR!
