Hello everyone. I wanted to address the closing of Rent on Broadway, so here is the post from my website
I know there are many people who are very upset, and I understand. This show has changed many lives, mine included. However that fact, is what is important. Going to see the show over and over again only allows one to remain longer in a fantasy world. What Jonathan would have wanted is for people come away from the show with a renewed spirit, and take that feeling into the real world! To live YOUR OWN LIFE the way the characters in the show, the words and the music have inspired you to. It means nothing to come and sit in a theater night after night and immerse yourself in fantasy, only then to walk out the door and be unchanged in reality. This show will live on in our hearts. But where it truly must survive is in our actions, our compassion and our generousity of spirit towards one another. It is time for the next chapter in this story. I'm excited to see how this story continues to change lives through regional productions, High school productions, small community theater productions and eventually when my kids are old enough, THE BROADWAY REVIVAL starring LENNON AND MONTE as Mark and Roger. That would be something....

hello everyone. i just want to thank everyone for the amazing support during my return to rent. the enthusiasum and response has been more than anthony and i could have hoped for. i know the line outside the stage door is crazy, quite frankly im overwhelmed by it. its very impersonal and i dont even get to look most people in the eye. id prefer it not be like that, but thats the way it is. sorry. please, if you come to the stage door, just know its going to be a very quick impersonal exchange. there are just too many people.
again, thanks for making this an unforgettable experience!!!

hello everyone! first let me say that i love all the photos and icons your making... very funny. also if your looking for funny pics of me, i had full on bon jovi hair circa 1988, when i was in my 20's. nobody has managed to come across any of those...i hereby challenge you to find some.

hello everyone just like to say hello. some of you hve asked about american primitive. it was a blast! i had such a great time making it. met some wonderful people. tate donavan is an incredible guy, i feel like i have known him all my life. good kisser too....james sikking...brilliant, love him. susan anspach... a sweetheart and batshit insane! josh peck...great kid..smart, talented and my kids love him on drake and josh. and the 2 lovley ladies skye bartusiak and danielle savre. beautiful, talented, funny...just loved them, they"ll be big stars!!
larry and i will be recording our record this summer tentatively titled "me and larry"
and sorry for all the "grow your penis" adds. i find it strange that there are sooooo many. more than any other spam...strange. anyway i try to delete all that shit as often as i can.

hey everyone so i had to remove the blog about rent because i announced it too soon. sorry about that. but now that it is offical i can say that anthony and i are very excited to be returning this summer, and we hope you all come back and see us. also once again i am currently on cape cod filming a movie called american primitive. it is a drama set in the early 70's about a gay couple(me and tate donavan) and their 2 teenage daughters, who dont know they are a couple. its been lots a fun and i had my first onscreen kiss with a boy....not so bad...not so good.... but not so bad.
anyway please check out me and larry at bb kings on may 9th.
also alot of you have been asking about goyband. i dont have any realease info. because of the nature of independent film you kind of dont know until you know...but ill keep you posted.
