I have a ton of new stuff for you guys in preparation for the new EP "Robot Music" out Sept. 10th!!! If you've been wondering where I've been for the last month, it's been behind my computer trying to get this stuff to you guys.

-New video : It's for "Yes? I'm Synthetic!" and you can view it (and a collection of live clips for "Indie Girl") here. Go check them out, give them great reviews (seriously), and feel free to add them to your site.

-Updated website : I've been working the last month to get you guys a site worth visiting (link). It has everything anyone would need and more...

Full bio : An in depth look at what motivated and inspired my releases and desicions as a musician.
Discography : Up-to-date discography with album downloads, wallpapers, icons, and exclusive album artwork.
Artist area : A page devoted to other musicians, featuring a list of the equipment I use, links to great freeware, and free VST downloads.

-New remix : New remix of "Broadcasts" by Lucy Daystarr. It's amazingly good. and you can hear it now at my Purevolume. Go listen and then go check out Lucy Daystarr's music!!

-Updated myspace : With the music video, along with some banners for your own site to help promote "Robot Music".

One of my top five shows of all times.

Hey, this is Matthew of Second Act Overture. Lots of good things have been happening lately! I got a job working for Synthesizers.com and I have an EP coming out this Saturday...so...two good things. Oh, wait, I found an unreleased Sneaker Pimp CD online so I'm pretty excited about that (that's all I've been listening to lately) and I finished my book finally (last chapter explained the equation of the chaos theory; I still have no idea what it's talking about). Four good things!

Anyway...more about the album. It's called "Ode To Strings" and it's six tracks of musical goodness. You may remember the older EP with the same title that was kind of my demo for awhile, but this is a beefed up, remixed, and sometimes recreated version of that. It has one new song ("Entr'acte"), one new remix ("Soundtrack For A Fairytale Romance (Version)"), and all of the songs have been modified and remastered. What's even better is my good friends at Sp00 Music (www.spoomusic.com) are releasing it as a free download, so if all goes well I'll have some new friends listening in.

So PLEASE tell your friends and PLEASE download it when it comes out (why not? It's free!). Burn it, distribute it, sell it, upload it, I don't care! Just get it!

Hello everyone. I just thought I'd let everyone know what's up in the world of Second Act Overture (I suck at blogging, so I'll do my best).

Mainly I wanted to promote a kick-ass ezine. Independent Clauses and I worked together to compile a mixtape feature some of the underground artists I listen to. It's a pretty mellow mix feature acoustic, down-tempo, and experimental electronica. I think you should check it out.
