We are back!   Counting Down The Days is released 27th July - the first single to be released on our own label ‘Shy Recordings’. We've made a bold choice that embodies the true spirit of 'indie' music - we've rebelled against the confines of a major label existence, choosing instead to set up our own.

Watch this space for updates on where you can get your hands on a copy of Counting Down The Days.  The new video will be up for your viewing pleasure as soon as, too.

Hopefully see some of youse at some of our up coming gigs.  Make sure you come and say hallooo!

Now for those of you who don't know, Oasis - the kings of Britpop -  are heading out on tour again to promote their mega new album 'Dig Out Your Soul'.  We are proud to announce that we will be supporting  them on the Scottish leg of their UK tour in November (see dates below).  To say we're excited would be the understatement of our lives. To support the band that helped inspire you to get in to, and then eventually start writing your own music is a feeling that  genuinely cannot be expressed.

We're still in a state of shock! Make sure you get in early to see us like. It's gonna be an amazing  few nights.

2 Nov - Aberdeen Exhibition Centre, Aberdeen (SOLD OUT)
4 Nov - SECC, Glasgow (SOLD OUT)
5 Nov - SECC, Glasgow (SOLD OUT)

On The Guardian’s blog, Alan McGee, the man behind Oasis’ career as well as Primal Scream and The Libertines, has just written a piece on his new favourite band – Sergeant!

Alan says, ’Mercer knows what it takes: one pure, perfect pop song to define you. However instead of just one, his band have decided to write an entire catalogue of pure, pop songs. Their sunny music comes via their Scottish indie roots.’
