Sorry everyone,

We've been without internet access for a while.  It may still be a couple more weeks.  Thankfully, we've been able to reply in short here and there to some of the messages we've been getting, but we have yet to be able to be online long enough, or in the right place, to listen and reply to all of our friend requests.  I promise, we'll be getting with you soon!

The Burning Is Here uploaded their demo onto their myspace.  Go check it out!  We had a lot of fun working with them, and look forward to working with them on their full length later this year.  We spent a lot of time with these guys in song development, in sound development, in image development, and in the studio.  We look forward to having another go at it and helping them develop their promo packages as well.  They have the heart, the closeness, the sound, and the talent to go a long way.  We are excited to be a part of that.  We will be uploading one of their songs soon!

Also, be on the lookout for new developments with you friends at Give Us Productions.

Well, I have to run.  We hope play "catch up"  with you all real soon.

Boulder, Denver, then the World.
This January will mark the grand opening of our services in Colorado!  We will be opening shop from Boulder, CO!  Boulderites, be sure to drop us an email during our move.  We're already checking out local artists!
 
Draven almost loses his brain...
On another note, our focus has been on Draven and his family for the past couple of months.  After his beautiful baby was born, a lot of hospital time ensued.  Once Ender was all well and good, Draven ended up in the hospital for a couple of weeks with a life-threatening infection.  A month later, he's almost fully recovered.
 
Houston, THIS is hardcore.
Draven is currently working with two Houston bands.  After many long hourse in the studio, The Burning (Is Here) will be finishing their demo CD this month!  The actual release date is up to them.  If you like music that sounds like the artist ripped their hearts out through their ears, threw them on the floor and used them for somp boxes, than keep an eye out for this incredible Houston-based hardcore band.
 
Killer new band!
Brovoto Green is back on track!  Though their name may change.  We expect to see these guys go to the top of the charts!  The mainstream may have a corner on the music industry, but these guys just may have a corner on the mainstream!  Keep your eyes and ears open...  amazing things are about to happen.

Current mood:  excited
Boring stuff about acquisitions, penguins, crazy science, and a polar bear or two
With the acquisition of Inner Sanctum Studios, the transition of the past couple of months has been a slow, yet exciting journey.  In the beginning, it seemd as if turning from a recording studio into a company of producers -that happen to have studios if needed- was liken to a penguin who wanted to become an eagle.  But these penguins built a molecular tranformation machine, and after a few expiriments on a few polar bears, forewent their fear of becoming another "The Fly" experiment gone wrong, and entered the machine.
 
However, we didn't come out as eagles.  Rather, we came out as a flying ninja penguins with telescopic eyes and a mean bite.  Who needs an eagle when you've got one of those?!  Enough about penguins though... 
 
We won't leave you alone
We have 5 months until our main office moves to Boulder, CO.  We're networking with a couple of Record Producers here in Houston, in the hopes of still offering our native Houstonians incredible choices of Record Producers (read: ninja penguins) close to home.  We also have talks of opening our services in San Diego.  Wow!
 
Are you missing out?
We have two projects in the works right now with our resident ninja penguins.  The Burning (is here) has completed all but the main vocal track and a few overdubs.  Be on the look-out for their incredible 3-song hardcore release.  After all, it will be available for FREE!  Also, Brovoto Green are in the signing phase of a production contract with us.  These guys will have no problem becoming the "next big thing" in alternative music.  They hope to release their 4 song EP the beginning of next year.  And, in case you're wondering, it will also be FREE!
 
So there you have it
We keep updating our top friends list to feature some guys we really think you should check out.  This list should change once or twice a month, though there are a certain few (artists, clubs, labels, and cool people) that will be on our list on a regular basis.  Those are the ones that we really think are cool!  That is to say, they are really helpful.
 
Keep your eyes on the look-out for our new flyers, and a new company description.  We're waiting for a couple of our bands to get back with us on what they really think of us, and then will be updating our page.  We look forward to hearing from you too, about what you want on our page.  Seriously, we do.  No, really... write us.  But please, don't be a polar bear... or we might have to try our next crazy experiment on you.

Inner Sanctum Studios is now part of The Music Company!  It feels great to be a part of something new, growing, and a bigger vision than we could have possibly imagined.  Thanks to everyone for 7 great years!  We look forward to many more with TMC, and are excited about the growth potential.
 
The myspace has changed to http://www.myspace.com/themusico , so take note!  Many changes are on the way, as well as some incredible deals!  We are also interviewing several studio engineers, negotiating a record deal with several artists, and making plans for an expansion office in Boulder, Colorado!

Eternal Life - Eternal Life has since been signed to the amazing Esotype Records, and the style has matured far beyond this sample.  We had the pleasure of catching them early on.  This recording has a uniqueness that sets it apart from our other samples.  We didn't record it, we only mixed and mastered it.  But the way it was recorded is what makes it unique.
 
Determined to release an EP on a budget, they pulled together their resources and surprised us all with this release.  The recording was done on a single microphone, in their garage, with only a 4 track recorder.  The Drums and guitar were on the same track!  None of us knew how it would turn out after mix-down because of its ultra-low-budget tracking method, but thanks to a few well trained ears, what could have been a disaster turned out to be a gem.

I Am - I Am, though no longer under that name, have been recording off and on with us since our beginning some 6 years ago.  They have made our studio their own project studio in a way.  They make use of our full range of midi instruments, and have recorded in many different environments, from a garage, to a bedroom, to a driveway, a bathroom, a live show, and a closet.
