I have been working on my new album as a full time job for the past 2 weeks. I've added the one and only pre-release demo of one of the right-now 18 songs I have in the works for this full length album, a final imagining of the Twenty Questions song that you probably don't remember, here for all 3 of you who may actually still use myspace. It sounds like crap on laptop speakers. I swear myspace slowed it down and detuned everything.
If you can imagine, I've been waiting a couple years to truly have time for the studio, so I'm giving it my all. I hope to release it on the suspecting public for free June 30 ish. Maybe I'll work out some donation online tip jar somehow. Excited for it.

Why can he send us mail anytime he wants?
Whenever he writes me, I mark as SPAM and say BLOCK NEVER LET ME HEAR FROM THIS STUPID HEAD AGAIN.
And still, Tom's messages get through.
I really hate how annoying you are, Tom. Just because you have a billion dollars for thinking up some really poorly designed social network, you think you can send us messages whenever you feel like?
I don't like you.

I reimagined the first song I ever wrote for my first rock band, The Sensational Silvertones. I'm pretty sure this version is better. I wrote it when I was 14 after the first girl I ever wanted to be with said yes then no really quickly in one weekend. That was half of my life ago. What were you doing half of your life ago?

I got a total playcount of 29 in 2 months. Who on earth is listening to anything on my page?
Stop it!
I want to put these Vampirate songs up again and have ZERO PLAYS a month from now.
Do your best. I know you can do it. Or not do it. Whatever it takes.

In celebration of the new season and the new times in life, here's some old songs.
Beach Party, California, and Baseball have all been here before, but let's just shoot them up here again for another go around, since I actually have LESS myspace friends than the last time I published them here.
They're appropriate now, though, way moreso than before in NWOhio.
I live in a beach California city that has 2 MLB teams! Cool! I'm 2 hours from a 3rd, 6 hours from a 4th and 5th!
And I think Preview is a great song and people should still check it out.
Peace!

It's been an unpredictable year so far, this 2007. January in Alaska, February in San Diego, California, March in Malibu. Yup. I will wake up Monday morning in Malibu, California where I now live, and drive 5 minutes down the Pacific Coast Highway to Pepperdine University, where I have taken a position as a Multimedia Producer. I now live in Los Angeles county and am 20 minutes from where I plan on meeting with agents and pitching my movies and starting the next phase of Pseudobook Productions after milking some connections.
I look forward to getting back into the swing of recording my songs for all of your enjoyment (all 3 of you). I gotta get settled, first, and then find a MOTU and a 58 to get back on it.
I just want to encourage people to never stop believing that they can do the crazy things they dream of doing. Dreaming about doing them and actually doing them are different, though. Talk is cheap. Action is much, much more expensive. And much more rewarding.
Get into it.

I'm having a great time in Willow, Alaska, where they filmed the movie Willow, among other things. Or maybe they based it on the name. Or maybe it's just the same name. Or maybe George Lucas wanted the original hero of Star Wars to be a little person, and went with whiny Luke instead, only to later put out a movie named after, or just the same, as the town I currently reside. I put up a new slew of songs if you haven't noticed. 3 "never-before-heard" songs from the ol' 100SONGS collection, and then I put That Preview Told Too Much back up because I think it's a great song and you may have missed it when it was up last year for like only a week. Seaport is trying to be a brother song to Airport, in demo form of course. Prison Break is not based on the TV show and is instead based on my own life. Vampirate Part 4 is, of course, long overdue. I have part 5 in the works, but it's not MySpace-worthy. Be well everyone. I head to SoCal in 2 weeks to get a job and keep cranking out the creative things like songs, movies, scripts, web pages, photography. I have a Flickr page now, too. That is web-speak for "online photo gallery". Check it out here: Pseudobook FlickrLater, guys.

Pseudobook is playing a show at Howards next week (Nov 30). It might be our last show ever, at least in this area under that moniker.
Also, Phlashlight's having a special holiday service on the next Sunday - December 3rd - with lots of special guests, even the Tapes.
That is at Covenant. I'll be in the mix all night there with movies and music sharing going on.
Lastly, Paul Runyan to Australia has been submitted to a film contest. When I make it past the first round to internet voting, I will let you know where to go support your local filmmaker.

Hi! Long time without an update here. Things have scaled back. But I'm here only to report that I got another show! We're playing at the Black Swamp Arts Festival in Bowling Green, OH on September 9th! My brother and I are pretty excited about this and have been practicing a lot! It should be a great time down at the old Cla-zel theater. Otherwise, school is upon us, and that means the end of the year of writing 100 songs! I will be closing up shop and moving the studio over to the new house to begin production on the final, polished, engineered sounds soon! Look for a series of these mini-albums soon. Podcasting rules! Please take a listen! We've gone for 13 weeks and have no end in sight! Click to go to our new web page!
