behold, meta-blogging, shamelessly lifted from my el jay and other
realms. i am still working on my domain, i know you will all forgive me
because i am present enough, @poetesss slut that i am on
twatter/facebrain/tumblr/livejournal/occasionally here.
i'm around is the point! but if you forget where to find me,
go to my keyring...

stalker's paradise

onto the point of this blog! 10/20/09 i turned halfway to fifty! yay!
i mean, 95!!! i wrote about all i done did as a broken toy sometimes
stowaway and villanelling vaudevillain. i learned uke, i moved,
i got a kitty, my hair did neat things, i learned a lot, i wrote a lot, i showed my bum a lot. let me show you pictures (a lot) of my bum. and me and my bum doing other things. (new default & pic below from 10/9 army of toys vaudevillainize YMCA cambridge, licky pic is a sneak peek from Justin Moore, one below from darling coworker, mo' on the burlesque poetess flickr)

Quiet Desperation ep X. Featuring Mehran & Rob "Roadsteamer" Potylo's web comedy of real life as a performer in boston.

i am a cameo ho. silent mocked gothling.

for the whole series, which i clearly highly recommend ---> http://www.quietd.com

and on a serious-er note.
Chelsea Spear was kind enough to include me in her amazing digital short documentary
on journal-keeping. myspace (like in many other relationships) was Cupid,
bringing us together i believe based on something i had about purse-journalling
on my personal page. teehee. in this film you get to see some of my shelves
of autoreferential archives, hear my muppet tour of my lap/writing desk
and hear me hippy lisp something profound enough to warrant ending
the bloody film! hoozah for being included in art projects of awesome.

request for writing exercises? answer-ed! i wrote a blog about a fun form (practically game)-- Jim Simmerman's "20 Little Poetry Projects" and included some of my examples from *gasp* college. poems that leapt like a goat wearing bells through a few hoops. it's all hot date poetry. about not hot dates.

request for videos of me performing... embedded video ahead! (clearly the message here is, ask and you shall receive. at least when i'm excited to do such burlesquery amidst my grad residency, just to be contrary?) anyhoo, video! my new twitterarrivals-- shall i call you the enablers? disablers? writerlets?

from feb. 12, 2009. "COME GET YOUR DADA ON!" i enter around 4:20 *snicker* and 8:10 or so? heck, just watch it! Molly Zenobia, moi, Army of Toys' premiere/record-ing "Off with her Head" -- it's all fabulous! high energy! surreal! s'how we roll. i did schtick about the current dada/economic crisis (this was feb, still particularly Obama-crazy tee) and enlisted the audience in writing a poem with me. i'm in a towel/edrie hat later because i was playing her in a short performance based on a piece of edrie creative nonfiction? edrie awesome? yes.

the toys pulling the ol' switcheroo, crashing -my- set at the Odditorium. 3.20.09 vomitious family xmas card caliber screen capture scenes ensued.

there's one of my bare bum at the Mr. Fox cd release in Gloucester ...somewhere kicking around fb, let me see if that's going to come to vimeo/youtube at a location near you, and i'll put it ici aussi.

1st blogverse x-post fo' me too.

REPORTS FROM THE CARNIE TRENCHES! wee roadtrip avec the army of toys!

to-night i won the twatter award for 17 updates >> @un_gout before/pseudo-during/after our show at Gloucester's adorable awesome full-up theater in the round with silhouette movie screen and beautiful on-the-harbour bench and view for visits to the Gloucester monster and such to keep things interesting throughout the eve. "can every venue we play have this right outside?" (-WS) the ghost boat/monster tweets are about conversations held at said lookout. port. dock. nothing like tromping through the underbrush in fancy shoes by cell phone light. ditto the secret underpassageway through the theater to the giant aeroplane hangar sized unfinished barn ceiling'd green room and backstage area of awesome. i ate the stranger brownies i found. i'm ok with that decision.

1. Salter managed to get a shot of just my legs and just edrie's bubs. fine work, lad.
2. we three doing the foxtwat-- foxtrot. i premiered the new oxymoronical adorkable little dead girl gothic lolita springwear line. and made octogenarians gasp and alternately smack their SO's in the front row. i like bringing a little burlesque bum flashback into folks' lives. i should start doing this at VFW's rec centers. anyway, we were all part of the faux-pera house 'what time is it mr. fox?' cd release show. you knew that.

3. but minutes before they took the stage Walter somehow succumbed to being literally corpse-dolled up. very operahouse. but no one can beat Brian King's Ziggy Pierrot look. those when i upload from the -real- (dig) camera. anyway, this is a post-set sweaty evidence-set!
4. ridiculously lovely victorian mirrors by the -ahem- royal throne! wot! weirdest/epic backstage ever. good quote too, re: WS and i discussing some folks' naked/warm-ups behaviour he's seen backstage before. my comment on fe-male nudity: well, i guess no one's threatened by a nest. they're just threatened by a branch!
5. & 6. i was secretly documented while i documented...analog poet-style. my new giant sketchbooks only render giant pages of tiny writing. woops. what do i do once offstage? (and after a successful non-falling ponyride from walter?)-- well get back to writing in a comfy corner armchair of course. nerrrd. it was so decadent. getting to be backstage and hear everything from the theat-er. (pronounced like they do in Oklahoma!)

bonus sexiness of lyra artist during Brian King's cover of Mein Herr!!! it's always a good idea to do this, i've decided. just say yes to cabaret covers + trapezery/burlesquery.

well. thus ends my first post-show blog-splosion. goo nigh. time to rub a fella's back. (and more when i empty the digital camera!)

more to behold at this plethora of links lynxs
