Hello musicians and bands,

This on-going blog is a place for musicians to post if they are looking for a band or other musicians to play with, or if you are in a band and you need a musician for your band.

Submissions can be really easy...you can either leave your contact info and who/what you are looking for in a blog comment, or you can message me your info to this page and I will add it to the blog listing.

Please make sure you include an email and/or phone number to reach you, as well as what you play and the style of music you prefer, and your general location. This blog is being posted to help you, but will be your responsibility to make contact with those interested, etc, and I can not guarentee that anything will come out of the listing.  If you find what you are looking for, please send me a quick message so I can remove you from the listing and save you from unwanted phone calls.

The name links you to their myspace page.

The Association of Independent Artists is proud to annouce our new radio show, AIA Live! SassDeluxe is hosting and taking over the radio waves and our Atlanta/Dallas/Cleveland rep Amy is producing, and bringing you the best music the AIA has to offer.

Originally scheduled for Dec 18th, our premiere show has been postponed until the new year to give our bands more time to get submissions in. When the show goes on-air, we will be opening up the phone lines to our AIA members to call in and plug themselves...upcoming shows, websites, myspace pages and upcoming new releases.

Please stay tuned for premiere show info, as well as listener registration and instructions to tune-in. If you subscribe to our blog you'll be the first to know about it!

THE CALL-IN NUMBER FOR THE STATION IS:

(646) 378 - 1229

Starting on January 15th, Amy and I will begin interviewing bands for the show and featuring their music throughout the broadcast, and the show will be on-air more frequently.

Mellow Mondays - The show will be focused on jazz, blues, gospel, and pop bands

Wild Wednesdays - Check out AIA Live for rock, hard-rock, punk and metal bands

Funky Fridays - Amy will feature hip hop, rap and electronica

We need your submissions for air-time!! It only takes a minute, and you could be a featured AIA Live band.

Please read the submission details carefully and send in the appropriate material.

The following info is needed for airtime and on-air interview consideration:

- Band name

- 1-2 songs in mp3 format ONLY! (all others will be discarded)

- Song and album name

- Myspace URL

- Music genre

- Band bio

Please email all your submission info to Sass at: submissions@aiarocks.com

Are you an AIA band or musician looking to get your song on the air? Does getting your song put into a 24/7 rotation sound like a good idea?

You bet it is, and we can help you do it.

The Association of Independent Artists want to get your music on the air! We are currently working some great indie stations across the country to get your music on the air and heard by thousands. More details will be coming soon, but we are getting a head start on our line-up.

What we need from you:

-Your band name
-Song title of the mp3 you are submitting
-Name of the album your track is on
- Your bands location
-Your myspace address
- Your music genre

*ALL SONGS SUBMITTED MUST BE IN MP3 FORMAT - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Here's the thing...we are getting tons of submissions, and it is keeping us really busy going through them all. If you do not take the time to include the little information that we ask above, your submission will be deleted. It's as simple as that...take the time and put in the little effort it takes to include the info and make our jobs a little easier...we are doing this for you. I can't track you down online or on myspace and refuse to do so if you can't include your info. It takes all of 30 seconds.

We will not reply to your submission email right away, so please be patient with our responses. We are working hard on getting our line-up ready, and are receiving the submissions, and want to thank all of you that have sent yours in and included what we need. As soon as all the details are ironed out for the show, we will let you all know. Keep the submissions coming in...if you are interested in being interviewed on the show, please include your contact info in the email: email, phone, IM, etc.

Please send your rock, hardcore, and metal submission information to Sass at:

submissions@aiarocks.com

The Indie Hwy will kick off in the new year on Wykkyd Bru Radio, with your host and DJ Dread. This show will feature the best metal and hard-rock AIA bands with interviews and plugs. Click on the link below to visit the stations webpage.

If you are involved in a radio station that is interested in accepting AIA bands into your rotation, please send an email to us at submissions@aiarocks.com , and tell us a little bit about your station.
