Everybody was born naked, but throughout our lifetime there was always a social mold that had you had to fit into, in order to be conisdered a "good person" or even just "a person". There is some idiotic notion in "AMERICA" that popular culture must be idolized and we should all kneel at it's majestic powers. In all aspects: Music, literature, art, fashion, religion, even the way you talk.
It's just sad now, people going out of their way to look like a certain "artist", to speak like one, to follow an asshat religion because that guy from mission impossible does it (and he's cool). I'm not talking about it being sad about certain people, i couldn't care less..... im talking about a civilization as a whole.
Where more people could name 43 Hollywoood actors, but couldn't even name 10 presidents. Where a kid's attitude towards school is crap and the teachers are being blamed, and when that same "kid" truely is an idiot.... the only thing the parents do is drug him up, until they inevitably become adicted to prescription drugs at the age of 21. Where someone may see a person totally covered up in traditional clothes an automatically think "Terrorist", and just next to this person is another person walking with a "JESUS IS MY HOMEBOY" shirt and the thing that would come to mind is "Friendly" or "Level-headed" all the while this person is on his way to bomb an abortion clinic. Simply because they've assimilated a primitive hate towards something that they simply can't understand and dont agree with.
A society were 5 name brands are the ones that are running every aspect of the people in the nation: Marlboro, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Gual-Mart, & Mtv.
Not that those companies are to blame, it's the people's idolization over decades that has given these companies the power some small nations could only wish for.
Because of all of those tangible dreams of: a better house, a better car, a better high, a better "life", ect. That it's as if there is no such thing as the "Human Race" anymore.
People are too worried about who will have the next #1 hit on American Top 40 to even give a shit about things that might actually matter; the Genocides in Africa, the increasing Reactionary movement in the US that will eventually become drunken psychos, how you can't even trust your own government anymore, the continous rape of the planet and its resources, ect...
And for what?..... a person may live with the nicest car in the world, and another with the shitiest piece of crap on wheels ever concieved..... but what difference does it make? Both will end up in the same place, in the ground. (Unless one is creamated...but nah) 
Nobody escapes death and no amount of money will stop time..... a lot more people need to understand that, and start living THEIR lives, before it is too late.
