December 14, 2009 – Guitar Center, the world’s largest music retailer, announced that its On-Stage winner, The Last Vegas, topped iTunes critics’ 2009 “Rock Singles of the Year List” with their hit single “I’m Bad” (Eleven Seven Music). 

Due in part to Guitar Center’s commitment to the support of aspiring artists, the band has risen to the top of the most popular digital music store in the world’s annual “best-of” list in just one year. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, The Last Vegas will not be playing with Smile Empty Soul and Burn Halo for the following shows....

MALE LEADS FOR THE KINK BOXES:

A TWISTED ASTHMATIC HYPOCHONDRIAC JOGGER: Should be in great shape. Will wear a gas mask type face mask attached to a female crotch apparatus and tied to a dolly.

A SOUTHWESTERN SNAKE VENOM DRINKING PASTOR. The shorter the better. Will be on a table and give birth to a devil baby doll which gets set on fire [FX done in post production].

A WIFE BEATING RED NECK TEXAS OIL BARON. Can be overweight, have a red neck appeal. Will be [simulated] strangled to unconsciousness, then smacked back into consciousness, then repeat.

A KLEPTOMANIAC ANALY FIXATED ACTOR. Good looking chap with great facial expressions. Will have his pants down on a table and wagging his ass like a dog, while the Dominatrix pulls car keys from his ass. [simulated of course].

THE EXTRAS:

Just looking for a motley assortment of people dressed in black, some kabuki style masks will be provided for some girls to act as more of the Dominatrix's apprentices.

WHATEVER GETS YOU OFF

CONCEPT: 'EYES WIDE SHUT' meets 'MAD MEN'. The theme of the video is a Kabuki Kink Brothel where people go to exercise their personal demons in whatever form it takes. There will be no nudity but strange acts will be performed by the lead male roles and the lead female so a comfort with this type of simulated kink is necessary.

The Last Vegas is packing up our shit and hitting the road for a november/december tour..  Most of the dates are posted already, i know a lot of you want us to come to your towns and we're trying to make it happen...  serious. For now, spread the word and come on out if you can cause we got all kinds of new tricks up our sleeves. The new album is finally available in Europe which is very cool...
