Autograph Store Parties with Paris, Gets "Cool" with Slash and Gets "Only One Each" From Jodie Foster

Talk about tough working conditions, we woke up the other day to more than one foot of snow on the ground! The news reported that the other nights storm was the worst in more than two years! Normally we would have done what most people did out here, just take it easy, relax and enjoy some hot coco, but not us Autograph Store, we had work to do, I mean celebrities are out there and we need to get our items autographed, so with that in mind...lets go to work!

While trudging through the snow fully bundled in our boots, sweaters and gloves who do we run into but none other than William H. Macy and Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman! Quickly we took off our gloves and grabbed our sharpies and Felicity was nice enough to complete several Desperate Housewives cast 11X14 photos we had, thanks Felicity for taking the time and signing up a storm during a storm! We continued walking down Main Street and we can see ahead all these photographers clicking away we ran up to see who it was and HELL YEA its our main man and musician extroadinare SLASH from GNR thats Guns N' Roses for all of you out there in case you didn't know. Slash is always the man with his cigarette hanging out of his mouth and just exposing everyone around him to his "cool" vibe. Slash has always been cool with us even taking us into his hotel lobby in NYC and Tampa on a few occasions to see what we had and wanted autographed. This time was no exception Slash signed all we had including one really nice "bones and skull" hand drawn sketch and some guitar pickguards! Slash thanked us for asking for his autographs and for making the trip to Sundance.

Later on we headed over with our VIP passes to Stein Erikson Lodge for the "Women In Film At Variety" event. It was so nice to be back on the inside all nice and warm.  We were very excited for this event as we knew Jodie Foster was going to be here and we needed her real bad on our "Silence Of The Lambs" photos. We have not seen Jodie in some time in NYC looks like she stays in LA much of the year and even our LA collectors tell me that Jodie stays at home most of the time, she rarely goes to events and when she does can be a little "moody" when it comes to signing. Once we got up to Jodie we told her how much we love her movies and asked her about "Nim's Island" a new movie she stars in with Gerard Butler coming out soon in 2008. Jodie was real nice talking with us and chatting it up with other people there. When we asked her to sign she told us she was not here for that, but would just sign one each, so we got her on some GREAT pics and one poster to complete with Anthony Hopkins. Other celebrities who signed for us at the "Women In Film At Variety"  event included Andi MacDowell (so sweet and nice), Danny Glover, Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci.

With that event over we decided to check out the 5WPR party our friend was throwing at his 5W Sundance Escape Mansion. This was a fun party with DJ AM spinning all night. We partied the night away (and also got some autographs) from a myriad of celebrities including Paris and her sister Nicky Hilton (who ended up dancing on the table at the end of the night), Mary Kate Olsen, Kim Kardashian, Eliza Dushku, Reggie Bush and more.

Autograph Store REPORT LIVE FROM SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL IN PARK CITY, UTAH


Yesterday we spent most of the time inside the Sky 360 Delta Lounge on Main Street as we had VIP passes and all access to this location (as well as many more in Sundance). We got Jack Black on a ton of photos from "King Kong", so many in fact we could not get the pen out of Mr. Blacks hand. Mary Kate Olsen also was inside she would just sign one a piece for our 3 collectors, telling us that she was not here for an autograph session. Hey Mary Kate be cool it's Sundance!

Than later around 6pm we headed on over ot the Eccles Theater for the "U2 3D" Premiere. We caught Robert DeNiro leaving the theater as he had just premiered "What Just Happened Here", we told Bobby we traveled from New York and he actually recognized one of our collectors, Shane. Mr. DeNiro has seemed to lighten up a little when it comes to signing and he signed 2 for each of our guys, we got some killer "Raging Bull" and "Taxi Driver" photos and posters done. We were able to get Bono to sign some albums and also a few guitar pickguards, something he very rarely does. Edge was also super nice adding his signature to some albums as well to complete some pieces we have been working on for the last year. Woody Harrelson who can be moody at times also picked up the pen asking us "how in the world did you guys get in here?" We told him we were invited and that Autograph Store was in full effect at Sundance, he appeared not too happy, but still signed 1 each for us. We also got up to Robert Redford, but even inside this event he had his personal bodyguards who made it real tough. Only one of our team members (Big-Sam) was able to get Redford but it's a real nice signature on a photo from "The Natural" and will be posted soon at auction on www.AutographStore.com

We also bumped into Tom Hanks and Colin Farrell around town getting Mr. Hanks on a various photos and posters. Colin on the other hand was not in a signing mood and did not sign for us at all.

Later on at night we had VIP passes for 50 Cent's show at Harry O's (TAO) and I must say Fifty put on a great show and brought the house down, Backstage we got up to Paris Hilton and she signed all we had, Paris is always so sweet and as long as it is not a crazy seen she will listen and sign as much as you want. Thanks Paris for topping off a GREAT night.

We will be covering more events this week, so please keep checking the blog. We will have a new and exciting auction up on Autograph Store in the next 2 weeks as we are adding some additional user functions over the next 2 weeks to make the auction easier to use and navigate.
