HEY HEY HEY!

Koo Koo coming to you live from the great plains of Iowa. We just finished up 4 shows in Illinois and we had a blast. We met so many fun people in each city and cant wait to come back in July! Props to everybody who let us stay on their floor and to everyone of our friends who came out to say hi at a show!

-Lake Villa-Props to "13" for letting us throw down a set at his monthly dance party. It was an odd night to say the least, but we are thankful that we had an audience and somewhere to shake it.

-Chicago-After a restful evening and an insane breakfast in lovely Evanston, we took off for Chicago. We met up with a friend who works at the Double Door, walked around Wicker Park and chilled by the lake before our show at Ronny's. Thanks to Par Avion and Republic of Lights for sharing the stage with us that evening. We had a great time and are exicted for them to come to MPLS to play for errbody.

-Crystal Lake-During the day you go to Georgio's pizza for incredible deep dish 'za, but after nightfall that place goes nuts. Our new friends Justin and Jim, an acoustic duo played a set before and after us. Those guys are hilarious (and Jim is 6' 7"). We love them and you will probably see them in a bar near you very soon.

-Bridgeport-Go ahead and try to find it on a map. You probably cant. But this place has cultivated an amazing scene in southern Illinois/Indiana. The Friendly Fire is this enormous room/paintball arena that puts together great all ages bills. Thanks to Charlie and crew for treating us amazing and making sure that we left with smiles on our faces.

Koo Koo Kanga Roo coming live to you from the great plains of the midwest USA!

We have had a great time in the early stages of this tour and want to give a big thanks to everybody who came out to see us in LaCrosse and in Madison. Thanks for sharing your towns with us. Wisconsin was wonderful, we visited a zoo, ate great food (five guys), watched High School Musical for the first time, partied in an amazing nightclub in LAX and threw a frisbee along Lake Michigan, among other things.

Whatup Roo Crew?

We here in Koo Koo-ville would like to let all of you know that we are planning on coming to a town near you this May! First, we need some shows. We are doing our best to book as many as possible. The size of your town is of no concern to us. We just want to play!!!

Now. This tour will only be taking place in the Midwest (East and West coasts, hold up, your time is coming) but if you want us to play in your city/town/township, HOLLA AT US! We are going to try to be out from the 10th-26th so please let us know if you can help us out with a show!
