After the great success of the Punchline Magazine-produced Scorching the Earth on Jan. 3, we are happy to announce that Marc Maron will be performing his one-man show every Sunday in March at 7 pm at The Green Room at 45 Bleecker in NYC. First show is this Sunday, March 1.

Tickets are only $15 (its a theater so no drink minimum!)

Get your tickets here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/56174

SHOW DESCRIPTION:
Needless to say comedian Marc Maron did not handle being left by his
second wife gracefully. Scorching the Earth explores the concepts of
love, need, hate, sex, anger, as well as the choice between humility
and bitterness. And cats lots of cats.

In Maron's words: "When
you're an asshole and your wife leaves you, there's a part of you that
thinks, 'Good for her. That took a lot of guts to leave me. I'm a
little jealous. I've been trying to leave me for years.' I had her
convinced that this intense mixture of neediness, hostility and fear of
abandonment was passion. Now, the jig is up."

Marc Maron is a
veteran stand-up comedian, social critic and talk show host. He's
released two albums, Not Sold Out and Tickets Still Available and has
two Comedy Central stand-up specials. He's currently the co-host of Air
America's Break Room Live and is the author of the book The Jerusalem
Syndrome: My Life as a Reluctant Messiah. His third album is scheduled
for release this year.

Punchline Magazine is giving away three copies of Mitch Hedberg's new album 'Do You Believe in Gosh?' The CD comes out Sept. 9.

All you need to do is write a haiku (that's a three-line poem with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second and five again in the third) about Mitch Hedberg and send it here: contest@punchlinemagazine.com. Make sure "Mitch" is in the subject line. We will choose our three favorite ones, post them online and send those peeps a copy of the album! When you enter, please include your name and address. We will print your town, so you have to be cool with that.
