phew.  big show last night and another one tonight.  doing drag for both.  it's fun bein in costume cause it gives you something to "play" with, rather than being your usual boring self.  but man is it work !  45 minutes on the make-up chair (my buddy Lana Luba who is awesome!!!) and spending the night with your eyes totally weighed down with false eye lashes and sipping beer from a straw.  plus once you're in costume you're committed.  you can't go around with a ton of face make-up and no wig or u look totally gross.  plus i got it easy.  i wear capris and converse instead of some dreadful gown and high heels.  still i like the eadge it gives us.  not a lot of drag queens fronting electro punk groups :-)

Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, second youngest of 5 kids.  Earned degree in Communication Studies at Concordia University in Montreal.  Started performing in bands in 1998 when I formed Brother Love Canal, a popular gay disco band on the local Toronto scene.  Nominated for a theme music Gemini in Montreal.  Made the cover of Now Magazine.  Formed Señor Kasio in 2004 after signing a deal with Ark Record in London, UK.  Peformed and recorded in Toronto and Southern Ontario ever since with a few shows in Dublin, Ireland.

I love fast, heavy music.  Best eras for me were the late seventies and early to mid nineties.  These were periods where artists let go of the bullshit and just did what feels good.  Most influential bands to me were Pixies and maybe Deelite, though the latter really only made one great album.

More to come when I think of it :-)
